Emma made her debut in Superbad, which was written by Seth Rogen. Ruth Negga is in Preacher. Where Rogen is executive producer. Good for Seth and his friends.

City of Stars is super catchy but Audition is a far better song imo. Weirdly enough, Start A Fire might be my favorite song from the film. City of Stars would be second.

Now they can add "Academy Award Winner" to Emma Stone's credit on those anniversary DVD editions of Superbad.

A Superbad star just won an Oscar. Jonah Hill was nominated and nominated twice first.

I can not believe this I am a big Emma Stone fan, but OSCAR WINNER??? Show me one scene where she was better than any of those people. This is kinda my thing. She more or less played the typical Emma Stone character.

Happy for Emma Stone but Isabelle gave the 2 best performances of this year, however the average voter is a 60 year old dude so the young ingenue just needs to be charming and give a servicable performance every year to beat the more talented veteran actress.

Been a big Emma Stone fan since probably 2009, way back when she did teen movies. Pretty nuts to see her win an Oscar.

Real talk. Is there a more unfortunate last name for an African American to grow up with than "Negga"?. Jeez... She's Irish. And Ethiopian. I'm sure she didn't grow up in any terrible places that could have abused that name, just saying it coulda been.

The real snub this year was Bojack not being nominated for Secretariat. So none of this really matters anyways.

If Arrival or Hidden Figures wins, I'm buying a frozen pizza for one lucky FAN member in approximately 3 years.

I honestly feel as though Denzel and Andrew Garfield were robbed of Best Actor. Seriously I never even heard of the film that Casey Affleck was in.
