MacFarlane should shop it to Warner Bros.  . Well, Spawn/Batman and Batman-Spawn: War Devil were a thing in comics... and the first is part of the Dark Knight Returns continuity (thus it's Frank Miller written and approved, which WB loves). |

If McFarlane wants to keep this on a small budget, it should have Spawn getting into his gun wielding form and blasting through a lot of people on his way to get Jason Wynn and Jessica Priest. Every now and then he uses his chains(which could easily done by practical effects). Maybe he fights Overtkill on his way. Wynn Escapes but Spawn gets his vengeance on Priest at the end. And save time in his origin by doing them on flash backs. The more expensive stuff can happen in sequels, since he would have room to negotiate if this film has any success.
