It looks less like anything made by View Askew and more like every back door pilot episode Married With Children had made for potential spin offs (i.e. "Top of The Heap", "Enemies", "Radio Free Trumaine", etc). I bet the guy who pressed the button on the laugh track died a little on the inside every time he did it. Kind of funny that they still implemented the same graphics for the opening and closing credits and incorporated the songs "Making Me Sick" by Bash & Pop and "Can't Even Tell" by Soul Asylum from the movie's soundtrack (although that kinda makes things worse, since it shows they kind of knew better).

That dude has the Dante voice down. But it doesn't have a clerks feel at all. Though I only watched a few minutes of it.

I thought this was the worst unaired pilot I'd ever seen.
Then I saw the Revenge of the Nerds pilot and had to rethink things.
