To the OP: you haven't found the right job yet.
I have been doing different jobs in the same industry since 2012 and have never been happier with work.

I love both of my jobs, but I also love the occasional day off and sometimes look forward to retiring in 30-35 years.

Today, my store got a visit from the district manager, and her manager. My managers were stressing, trying to get it ready. I tried my best to make it as easy for them, as possible. Today ended up being one of my best days in a while, and the district manager's manager, told my GM, that he was going to give me points for that, and helping today be successful. (You cash in the points, and can buy electronic stuff, etc.)

I have only worked 5 jobs in my life.
15 to right before I turned 18 I was a clerk at a comic shop. 18 until I was 22 I was in the Army. 22 for 8 months worked as graveyard shift at a huge gas station. Then worked for a bit over 10 years in the city morgue. My last job I did for 3 years, was doing home health care for the richest man in the county.
Been on disability since 2007. So while I technically don't work,I do do video work/commentary and sometimes security for various indy feds in TX/LA/MS/AL.
Outside of the comic shop I enjoyed all my jobs. The comic shop would have been fun but the owner was a total POS.

I like travelling to other Countries and going to Conventions as well as collecting stuff and going to Race events.
None of this would be possible if I didn't work, it is sort of a necessary evil, but I also know I would hate to be unemployed.
A weekend where I am skint really sucks, I don't even want to begin to think what it is like to be like that permanently because you have no money coming in.
So unless I win the lottery, I'm fine with working for now.
Which I don't mind, it can have it's shit days absolutely, but I know there are worse jobs out there so I am fine where I am.
