Yeah, I'm working just over the bridge from there now, can hear a ton of police cars/helicopters.
Think it's contained.

From the report I saw somewhere else there sounds like there were two incidents the traffic collision and someone stabbing a cop (the stabbing is where the gun shots came from the armed police in parliament shot the assailant) Granted this is coming from someone on the opposite side of the ocean relying on an internet news site...

Probably not the brightest idea trying to attack one of the most tightly secured and heavily guarded areas in the world.

Probably not the brightest idea trying to attack one of the most fortified and heavily guarded areas in the world. Just ask Guy Fawkes

just another "lone wolfer" who ran over people on westminster bridge, one killed. then crashed outside the portcullis house (the entrance of parliament), went in and stabbed a police officer, then got shot by plain clothed officers
now two died per sky news

Sky News are disgusting. Showing pictures of the injured while the death toll is rising makes my blood boil.

Going off eyewitness reports I wouldn't be surprised if the death toll rose significantly. I hope not though obviously.

I hope that this is handled quickly, and peacefully as possible. I hope that there aren't many injuries or deaths, and I hope anyone here, that is near that area, can stay safe.

As someone with friends and family who live and work in London, yeah this concerns me deeply.
Thankfully nobody I know is involved..
Really sick of this bullshit, it sucks where ever in the world it happens, but It's more scary when it happens closer to home.
This shit is getting way to common for my liking.

I am not saying this to be a dick, but does the UK have much in the way of news outlets that aren't exploitative and sleazy? Admittedly, I probably just hear about things like this or the monstrous phone hacking shit that should have probably landed many people in prison.

Sky News are disgusting. Showing pictures of the injured while the death toll is rising makes my blood boil. The attack is bad enough. Seeing Kay Burley on the scene just rubs salt in the wounds. That's why I stick to the BBC.

At this point I'm just glad there weren't more victims and that authorities were able to react quickly and efficiently. Hopefully there won't be more fatalities.
Stay strong, Great-Britain.
