1.NOLA-As long as you avoid the tourist trap areas aka the French Quarter it is a great city. 2.Austin-Amazing place for live music and has some great cinemas. 3.Atlanta-Almost as good as Austin for live music. 4.San Diego-Great zoo,and lots of other fun stuff to do. 5.Memphis-So much to do. And like Austin and Atlanta great for live music.

1. Chicago (far and away...not even close between first and second place. Beer, food, more beer, The Blues Brothers, Wrigley....absolutely amazing city.)
2. Cleveland (I'm a Cleveland Clinic patient and that place is amazing, so that moves them up a few slots)
3. Columbus (just an awesome awesome place...even if I absolutely f***ing hate their universities sports teams)
4. Pittsburgh (so much food...so much beer....saw the 2014 rumble there, one of a dozen or so times I've been to the Burgh. Hate their pro football team...and the big university of the same name can eat shit eternally)
5. NYC (makes the list strictly because it's NYC. I never left Manhattan though the one day I was there - I was there for work.)
Honorable Mention; Charlotte, Denver, Jacksonville

Been to plenty of other major cities (Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Chicago, etc.) but not long enough to judge them.

New York Las Vegas Houston San Antonio Dallas (I've actually only been there for a couple of hours when transferring to/from a flight but it was that or Cleveland and as Dallas has a nicer airport, it gets the fifth spot).
