So I guess she won't be part of the Gotham City Sirens movie... as Batgirl was one of the people Robbie wanted along with the rest of the BoP to show up.

Hopefully WB gives Whedon some freedom with the project. Not 100% unfettered freedom, but hopefully they don't box him in too much like in the past.

I remember when nearly everyone wanted him for Wonder Woman but then as soon as Age Of Ultron hit alot turned on him. While I did like Age of Ultron for the most part... that was Whedon Snarkfest Dialogue at some of it's biggest form... and had some really terrible Black Widow scenes... So I could see why people would turn on him... that said if he didn't like Marvel putting constraints on him WB have imposed some much stricter constraints on their film makers... see Suicide Squad. Also I could see his writing fitting Batgirl WAAAAY better than I could see it fitting Wonder Woman. Jena Malone just woke up to a big grin on her face and she's not 100% sure why yet. Despite reports she wasn't Barbara in Batman V. Superman. She was Jenet Klyburn. |
