'I had the worst year of my life (after losing to The Rock at 'Mania 28)'
- John Cena in the build to Rock/Cena II The f*** you did, John. Any time I hear that I think of Homer building the grill. "That's one interesting-sounding storyline... Why wasn't the one we got like that?!"

Didn't Ahmed Johnson once point to his position in the PWI monthly rankings as justification for a push? To be honest, a lot of guys did that. It's called (in the words of Bruce Mitchell) "being a mark for yourself", which Ahmed definitely was.

It's one apparently from a DVD that's become a recent running gag on the Attitude Era Podcast... "Triple H was the architect of the Attitude Era".
I don't hate Triple H, but LOL no.

How easy you forget that WCW had all major world leaders about to sign over control of their countries to Ted Turner right up until Triple H fired a shot from his mighty tank and wiped them off the face of the earth.

I remember one of the DId you know facts on the Website was "The Pedigree is similar to a double underhook facebuster, but is actually way more powerful!"
Uh why? Because Triple H's nose was bearing down?

WWE sycophants complaining about WCW trying to destroy them, as if Vince was running a benevolent charity by comparison.

On the first episode of "Bring It To The Table", JBL told Peter Rosenberg that James Ellsworth was heavily featured because he was a ratings draw for Smackdown Live.

"The Undertaker and Triple H have never met in a one on one contest before today, here at WrestleMania 27..." I don't recall anyone actually claiming it was the first time, just acting like it was with all the, "This is a once in a lifetime showdown between two legends," blowing that constituted the build up until the last week when they got Michaels in and thought to have an actual plot. If nothing else the next night on Raw Triple H acknowledged the Mania 17 match. No acknowledgement of the odd Taker / Triple H curse, though, that any time they had a one-on-one Mania match it was great but any time they had one anywhere else it was complete dogshit. I remember an awkward moment where Lawler said they had never faced before and Cole tried to correct him like Okerlund used to help guys who got lost on promos.

Yeah, I think it was in like the Royal Rumble... and he said something like I DONT REMEMBER SHAWN MICHAELS AND THE UNDERTAKER EVER FACING OFF BEFORE!

Buff Bagwell claiming he was equal to The Rock in the 90's. Here is proof that he made this claim.

The comments on RAW right after WrestleMania about the fans booing Roman Reigns. Let's be honest, pretty much everything the commentators have ever said about Roman Reigns.

Batista had a hilarious one on the Triple H documentary. Referencing Triple H: "He's the Michael Jordan of sports-entertainment." Like, come on dude. Michael Jordan was a mainstream mega star who transcended his profession. Find me one person outside of wrestling fans who even know who the f*** Triple H even is. Oh, a few thousand people from the Download metal festival last year pissed off at him turning a Lemmy tribute into shilling NXT. Well, not counting drunk/other people who won't remember, hundreds. Maybe.

I fully believe that it's possible that Terry Bollea knew James Hetfield and/or Lars Ulrich in the late 70s or early 80s. It's also plausible that he jammed with them once or twice or talked about it, because he's known to be an at least competent bassist.
But no, Hulk Hogan, you were not "going to be the bassist in Metallica".
