I fully believe that it's possible that Terry Bollea knew James Hetfield and/or Lars Ulrich in the late 70s or early 80s. It's also plausible that he jammed with them once or twice or talked about it, because he's known to be an at least competent bassist. But no, Hulk Hogan, you were not "going to be the bassist in Metallica". this entire thread could be made up of nothing but Hogan claims.

- John Cena in the build to Rock/Cena II The f*** you did, John. Any time I hear that I think of Homer building the grill. "That's one interesting-sounding storyline... Why wasn't the one we got like that?!" Here ya go

Burton died in September 1986, and I have my doubts that Hulk Hogan of all people had any thoughts of leaving the wrestling business and all the money he was making there at that specific point in time. If it had been in 1982 or so, then at least maaaaybe there could've been a theoretical chance of it being true.

Didn't they use his divorce for that? Even though he got divorced cause HE cheated? And yet we're still supposed to root for him and Nikki. Didnt Cena start dating Nikki months after the divorce?

Related to that, I love how when they had Cena's wife in the crowd in the run-up to Mania 28 and kept drawing attention to her, Rock rightfully called out, "Weren't you just making out with Eve Torres a month ago?"

There was a Sports Illustrated interview with Triple H about NXT, and at one point it said about H's kids winning titles: "The greatest payoff is the celebratory picture with Levesque."

some Roman fans are claiming Roman Reign has surpassed Cena in terms of popularity, which is ridiculous, for average non wrestling fans know Cena, they do not know Roman

some Roman fans are claiming Roman Reign has surpassed Cena in terms of popularity, which is ridiculous, for average non wrestling fans know Cena, they do not know Roman I've heard his name pop up in some non-wrestling circles of mine but it's generally in kind of a, "This guy's so lame," kind of way. Generally at best, "His hair is really pretty."

Vince's comment about believing you shouldn't hurt the competition on I think the Monday Night Wars DVD I legitimately laughed out loud at the bare assed audacity of that.

Whenever commentators say "We're having fun" you can guarantee we're not having fun and are instead sitting through a cringe worthy, unfunny comedy skit with fake laughs from Cole.
