Just hearing about this. Thoughts and prayers are with you. I'd tell you about my last hospital visit, but it involved ICU, nearly dying and being stuck for a week. Want to encourage, not end up in the Ambrose Asylum. Be strong, you are missed, you are loved and supported. I had a seizure a few years ago, and I was in the ICU for a few days. Thankfully, this wasn't a seizure, but I can't even describe the pain I felt. It's worse when there is no pain at all, when you are so sick, you're numb. We, the Ambrose Army, are here for you. |

Mom sat with plush Dean, while I had my mri. I hope that I can go home tomorrow. The lady in the bed across from me's family, offered to by my parents snacks and word search books to pass the time while I was out of the room

The nurse said I may not need an iv anymore. I'm hoping this means I can leave tomorrow!!

They unhooked the iv last night. I hope that is a sign that I can go home today!! I hope they read the mri results early enough. My mom's friends have been checking on us, and I'm thinking if they see anything, that it's hopefully an easy fix.

My mom's boss came to visit us, and to see how I was feeling. She works for pediatricians, and even though I'm past the age, they told her to get me to the hospital. This may be an over exaggeration, because I can't explain the pain I felt, I woke up at 6, Sunday morning, with massive pain on the right side of my head, where my shunt is. I couldn't open my right eye, and had pain if I tried to. I kept telling myself that I thought I was going to die. As soon as the doctors and nurses heard that, they really stepped up, and gave me the help I needed. I can't say enough good about Yale New Haven Hospital. They care about lot about both their staff, and their patients. I was terrified to tell my mom though, that I thought the worst.
