30 years ago an old drunk made humans out of his rabbit characters to pay off his gambling debts. And they first appeared on the Tracey Ullman Show on April 19th, 1987.

My favourite TV show of all time, bar none.
Completely shaped my sense of humour.

Whilst I feel the show has kind of outstayed it's welcome. I cannot deny that it was something I grew up with, once upon a time I could have quoted whole episodes.. Not so much anymore. Heck some quotes from back in the day I still use now. Even something simple as "D'OH" when I make a mistake on something. Good times

It has over stayed its welcome but I can't get enough of the older episodes. When it does fade out it will be a sad day.

It had seven straight seasons of gold. Not just funny, but innovative, influential and brave.
No matter how many terrible seasons it has, it will always be one of the greatest.

I turned 2 when the first short debuted, first got into the full show in around 1991 (think that was when we first got cable with access to Sky One) and I'm still a massive fan now having turned 32 today. It's best years may be behind them but they can still pull the odd cracker out the hat from time to time

Still one of my favourite shows of all time. It may not be as good as it was in those classic years but it still has it's moments.
