Well let's see if Mahal can beat Kevin Nash in the lowest drawing ever wwe champion list In all seriousness, it can't be a fair comparison. The only thing in common between these runs are Nielsen ratings, and even those can't tell a full story anymore. Well we could judge it on number of attendance. Yeah hope Mahal beats Nash I can't stand that guy, in every interview he makes it sound as if he's the greatest of all time.

You guys do realize this isn't the end of the story, right? Let's see where this is going before we take a reactionary crap all over it. I remember when I had that Naivety. Treasure it while it lasts.

And they built Holly for months and actually had other guys like Big Show job to him. Jinder literally went from Jobber to champion pretty much without explanation. Did they? I barely remember that period. My life was a bit of a mess back then. Yeah, they even had Lesnar running away from Holly. They built it for months. Since Holly returned from getting his neck broken by Lesnar. Holly was protected before the royal rumble.

Welp I will concede I was wrong back when a bunch of y'all were freakin out after the number one contender deal. I was sure this was Holly v Lesnar, but whaddya know? Well way I look at it is this is a big upset and upsets happens in sports sometimes. Someone before brought up Serra/GSP or Douglas/Tyson and I agree when you look at it in this context it's a shit moment. You question whether this will last long and if the person can prove the first time wasn't a fluke

I'd argue he's even under the early transitional guys, because at least Koloff, Stasiak, and Sheik actually DID stuff in their careers that made people care about them. Jinder's not remotely in their collective league.

I'm fine with it either way. Maybe I've just mellowed in my old age, but stuff I see on tv shows, movies, comics whatever that I don't like/disagree with I might've had strong feelings about, now I just go "huh. that's kinda dumb." And that's the end of it.

What if Jinder steps up his game and has a decent reign character wise ala JBL?
Not saying he will, but it could happen. Dude could end up being a good champ; never know.

I look at it this way.
Even with all the criticism, Jinder's still not the worst World Champion in Professional Wrestling History.
Because there's still Vince Russo and David Arquette: WCW World Heavyweight Champions.

The great thing about the booking is that it is believable too.
Jinder has had assistance throughout the entire process. I am very much interested to see how they explain the Singh Bros loyalty, be it out of desperation or their great admiration for Jinder.
It could even lead to an epic three way clash at some point, perhaps even Wrestlemania!
There's so much that can be done with this reign. Ending it would be as simple as having the Singh Bros banned from ringside, resulting in Jinder getting mauled by his opponent, thereby creating a mega face. Is the world ready for Mojo Rawley to finally get his hands on Jinder alone after weeks of outside interference? The possibilities are there.

And they built Holly for months and actually had other guys like Big Show job to him. Jinder literally went from Jobber to champion pretty much without explanation. But there was an explanation. He got backup to help him win the number one contendership, he hasn't lost a match since winning it, and tonight they helped him win the title. He's pinned Sami, Orton(in a 6-man tag), and AJ before tonight. That's the three top faces currently on SD (excluding Nakamura). They actually put effort into building him up since he came to SD. But since he's Jinder Mahal, no one really took it seriously.
