I actually don't mind Back to the Future at all. I get the hate, but I found it enjoyable. Same with Nightmare on Elm Street and Wolverine. In fact, I feel the hatred on LJN is for the most part undeserving. There were worse companies in this era with far worse licensed titles (almost every single THQ game for the NES is trash)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES. I loved it as a kid, and played it so much that even the water level wasn't too difficult. But now I absolutely suck at it.
Back To The Future 2 & 3 for NES. As a kid, I really enjoyed it. Certainly better than the first BTTF NES game.

Even the AVGN admits that Simon's Quest, despite its flaws, is enjoyable. Street Fighter 2010 was alright. It was brutal, but alright. I never got the hate Battletoads got for its two player mode. I found that the best part. Hell, if nothing else the fact that you can hurt your partner makes it better. TNMT was fun. It had some things I would change, but otherwise I don't see the problem with it. Well, at least until I am stuck with just Raphael and Michaelangelo. Then the game blows. The thing about Battletoads is that there was this glitch in the 11th stage. It was, in my opinion, the TRUE nightmare stage (the 3rd stage gets ragged on, but stage 8, in the volcano, and stage 10 are just as frustrating) because it involved that unicycle. Apparently, the second player unicycle didn't work.

Technically not an officially licensed NES game, but it was made for that console - Big Nose the Caveman. I absolutely love the game for nostalgia reasons (my babysitter had a copy of the game when I was a kid), but will never deny how poorly made it is.

I beat Master Chu and the Drunkard Hu. Not a great game, but not a terrible one, either, despite the weird controls.
Since I owned it as a kid, I played Mickey Mousecapade a lot. It's bad, but not terrible.

I don't know if MC Kids is 'bad' or what the perception is, but I loved it. That was a great game. I really liked it.

Not sure if it's considered a "bad game" or not, but I never see it talked about. I have very fond memories of Little Nemo: The Dream Master.

I liked Simon's Quest. I think the major flaws with the game were some of the cryptic secrets that didn't make any sense.
The game is pretty fun taking the original Castlevania and adding some RPG elements to it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES. I loved it as a kid, and played it so much that even the water level wasn't too difficult. But now I absolutely suck at it.e. I never had a problem with the Dam level. I was surprised when I got on the internet and found that everyone thought it was one of the hardest things ever. I have no idea what people consider bad games A bunch of the ones listed in this thread I've generally not heard anyone say anything bad about though. Like Monster Party, Rygar or Little Nemo. I never really liked Castlevania 2... but I didn't really think it was terrible. One that used to get a lot of flak mostly for being different than the rest of the series and admittedly it's difficulty at times is The Adventures of Link, which I really like.

I've seen Friday the 13th trashed on a good bit of sites. Its one of my favorite games. Still play it quite often. Love the music and the "survival" aspect of the game.

I have never heard Rygar called a bad game. It isn't that hard. All you need to do is power up by beating the robot looking guys on the floating grey rock area after you have the grappling hook.
I second both Friday the 13th and Deadly Towers. Deadly Towers is a hard game, but it is meant for you to progress slowly through it. You also need to map out the dungeons. It even recommends that in the book for the game, which gives you a map of the first one. While it is not a great game, it is at least a 5/10.
Friday the 13th makes no sense unless you know how to play it. Once you figure it out, it is pretty fun.

Bart vs The Space Mutants. Yeah the platforming was awful but I really think it had an interesting premise.
