I def like to see Netflix shows get some love in Phase 4. Have some of the characters cameo in a movie or something They could at least give them random reaction shots, like having Luke, Jessica, or Danny look up at the sky if something messed up is going on. And at least one "sweet Christmas".

Yhey need to make a serious push to get Fantastic Four back, as the family unit is the perfect launchpad for the next "era" PH4SE.Contrary to popular belief, Fox doesn't own the film rights to the Fantastic Four; Germany-based Constantin Film does since 1986(?), and they've licensed the rights to Roger Corman's New Concorde Films, as well as Fox. Which means that Constantin can work with Marvel Studios if either side is willing to do so. ...... HOW THE F*** DOESNT DISNEY'S LAWYERS KNOW THIS ALREADY!?

Well, there's probably a contract in place giving Fox exclusive rights as long as certain agreements are upheld. I mean, Fan4Stic was apparently originally so not FF that Marvel was about to sue them claiming the were only using the name to try and keep the rights, and that it wasn't actually a FF movie, so Disney is clearly aware of where everything stands

geez 22 films.
Well, I'd be very intrigued as to what they're going to do after Infinity Wars. I've been pretty bored with the repetitiveness of the franchise so far. If they truly intend to shake things up (and not just swap character but basically keep everything else the same) then that's definitely a good thing.

Those were part of the reshoots Fox made so Marvel didn't sue them.

Ya, I've never bothered to watch the movie but I've heard it has some of the most blatantly obvious reshoot materiel in there you've ever seen in a big budget movie. Like, they didn't even try to have some visual continuity in there.

I have a feeling one day Disney is going to just offer like a billion (legit) dollars for the Fantastic Four just to get it over with. They'd make that money back easily.

Just to put that in perspective, I believe Marvel sold for $4 Billion and Star Wars sold for $4.1 Billion, there is no way in f*** they pay $1 Billion for just Fantastic Four

I feel pretty strongly they will get even bigger in scope and "unfilmable" stuff like marvel zombies will be made. Without continuity perhaps just one off what if films. Also We will end up with the female Thor and Iron Woman etc. how do you replace rdj? Well you don't so bring in some hot young girl from a Netflix show like dope or dear white people and do the Iron Woman thing. Exactly. Like with Cap. They've got two more canon Captain Americas as established characters already. I think we'll get Bucky as Cap pretty soon actually.

For one billion Disney could probably buy Star Trek, then make that money back on a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover universe.

Paramount need to realise that while the cast of their movies are talented in their own right, Chris Pine is not Kirk, Zach Quinto is not Spock, Simon Pegg is not Scotty etc, and they never will be. The original cast was just too iconic. It's not like James Bond where you have a rare case of the character transcending the actor. Plus, they keep recycling the same "villain out for revenge" plot and it's getting tedious.

Beyond apparently didn't make enough money to guarantee a fourth flim. As of last month the next movie was still going ahead, and Paramont has green lit preproduction. While Beyond didn't quite make as much money as the studio had hoped it would, they felt that the strong critical praise was enough to justify pushing ahead with the sequel. All the principal cast have signed new contracts and Chris Hemsworth has been raving about the "amazing pitch" that was made to him for returning as Kirk'd dad, so while this could be the last roll of the dice for the JJverse, it's certainly not done just yet.

Like I said I wasn't positive it was something I thought I heard in passing. I like the JJverse though I personally think Beyond is the weakest of the three.

I think the very continuity that people love with the MCU with be the thing that people start to dislike, especially when they haven't seen the 10+ movies that have come before Captain America 5 or Doctor Strange 3. Maybe if the movies start to embrace a 'what if' or 'elseworlds' perspective, such that movies don't have to be bogged down by continuity, that would be the way to keep the MCU fresh. Why not do one-off movies like Maximum Carnage, Demon in a Bottle, Cap Wolf, or Triumph and Torment, that have no cause-and-effect relationship with one another. . I'd love to see Armor Wars done on the big screen, but that requires way too much backstory, although if they just take the main concept and alter it to fit the MCU like they did with Civil War it could work (though there's no way we get Rhodey doing whiteface like in the comic).

Yeah, I think it was the weakest too, though it was definitely the closest to capturing the classic Trek feel (albeit still with a heavy action bent to it). I'd like the next one to be more character driven though, as I think the cast has been extremely underused so far.

If someone mentioned already, I apologize. But how about a West Coast Avengers movie?

Bring back the Red Skull, eventually have Doctor Doom in the MCU, and please do a Namor film.
