Would not surprise me if the way they are going is that Thanos ends up not being defeated and after all is said and done going into phase 4 the current avengers most if not all will either be dead or things have so radically have changed that the old avengers just aren't around and hence the new line up.

It's odd. When it comes to films, having movies made by Marvel would be the best thing for DC's characters. Yet when it comes to comics, Marvel's characters would have better books if they were made by DC.
