Atrocious acting from most of the cast, mutilating the books in the first two movies ESPECIALLY the first one, miscasting on a level not seen since John Wayne played Genghis Khan, and an overreliance on SFX. This franchise is my most hated film franchise ever. The first one was way better than the book in nearly every way, and the second book was so boring and pointless that if the movie was faithful it'd be almost as bad as what we got. Nah. The book is better than the movie. That said, Jurassic World was better than it had any right to be. I really enjoyed it. |

I really hated the second book for reusing the Dodgson character. I felt it was easier to create a new entity to contend with.
Don't get me wrong, The Lost World was inferior in just about every way, but it had a few good moments. I liked the segue from the intro to Goldblum's character. It got a huge laugh when I saw it in the theater.

There's a rumor the plot will involve a Volcano threatening the dinosaurs, thus the embers on the poster and title.
JW was shallow fun, but I have high hopes on this one with allegedly more of a Horror feel to it, Goldblum, and no Trevorrow.

Goldblum helps matters some, but I didn't care for Jurassic World. Now, if this was Jurassic World: Tragic Kingdom, and Gwen Stefani was in it, that'd help all the more.  |

As long as a movie has dinosaurs eating people I'm all on board. I don't even require much of a story, plot nor acting. The only thing I don't want to see anymore is gators with feathers glued to them.
