The film title really should be Jurassic Park 5: Jurassic World 2: First Blood Part 3.

Actually excited for the return of Malcolm.
I love this franchise. Even the weakest one "part 3" is a lot fun

No more of this awful franchise, please. One was incredible Two was pretty good Three sucked World was fun What's wrong with this multi billion dollar franchise exactly? Atrocious acting from most of the cast, mutilating the books in the first two movies ESPECIALLY the first one, miscasting on a level not seen since John Wayne played Genghis Khan, and an overreliance on SFX. This franchise is my most hated film franchise ever.

One of my favorite franchises. Absolutely love the series, even part 3. Thought World was awesome so I'm quite excited about this.

mutilating the books in the first two movies ESPECIALLY the first one Kind of funny since Crichton himself was heavily involved in the screenplay. Sorry, I disagree. I loved both the movie and the book. I don't see what reason there is to get upset about them being separate entities in terms of entertainment. Speilberg did an incredible job with the material in a way that would keep people interested. Sorry but movies and books are two different norms of entertainment, and I feel that liberties can and should be made. The science and details behind Jurassic Park are awesome. Translating that to a movie that isn't a documentary or learning program would be next to impossible. It's the reason they decided to go the Westworld approach instead of the Andromeda Strain. And for the record, I ended up reading the book because of the movie. I also enjoyed the book far more.

To do the original book justice they'd have had to make it about 210 minutes long and be R-rated. While I prefer the book, the first movie was fantastic.

I'm f***ing stoked.
I loved the first 2...and I had qualms with "World" (relied way too much on nostalgia, the f***ing kids..) but I do think it was a fun movie, that reinvigorated the franchise from the pterodactyl shit that was JPIII...and I was hoping they'd bring back Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neil. Got one of my wish!..
I've wondered where the trilogy is gonna go. In my mind the next one should be called Jurassic War. And Ian Malcolm has joined with Ingen to propose sending the created Military Dino's to the island to wipe out the other Dinosaurs. And Pratt and Sam Neil lead a group to oppose them.
And I'd hope the third one is called Jurassic Extinction. And they finally end the franchise.
But stoked either way for Goldblum!

hopefully the EFFECTS are better done this time ..... YES I SAID THAT!!!
some of them are NOT up to the standard required, and stand out pretty badly (the travel ball "rolling along the ground in a totally flat way, them walking out at the end), but the end fight is AWESOME!
and they should do a proper and full adaption of both books, make them into six-part mini series .....

I heard they're trying to do a bunch of sequels since Jurassic World made so much money. I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't go off the rails like Jurassic Park 3 did. That wasn't good. I also heard a rumor that the original T. Rex is coming back for this. Hopefully it's not a really bad CGI knockoff.

I was really let down by Jurassic World.
It was just kinduva dumb, shambling mess with generic stock-characters portrayed by actors who've done that same character multiple times in other movies (looking at you Chris Pratt). It was just a cliché-laden CGI-fest that left me feeling really empty after I watched it.
But maybe I went in expecting too much as I really enjoyed Safety Not Guaranteed.
I hope they .... I dunno do something different with JW2?
JP 1 was obviously a classic. JP 2 was still enjoyable. I know it's WAY different than the book, but that doesn't really bother me. JP 3 was honestly closer to JW 1 in that it seemed to be more about showing off CGI dinos than telling a cool story.

This franchise is my most hated film franchise ever. Then don't watch it. I'm always amused by this attitude of "I personally don't like (X) so it shouldn't exist anymore". The acting is fine. It's a franchise about dinosaurs, not the Godfather. The books have been adapted well enough (the second book was shitty anyway), and the casting is excellent. Sam Neill was a great Alan Grant and Jeff Goldblum is the perfect Ian Malcolm. An overreliance on SFX? Other than puppetry I'm not sure how else you'd portray dinosaurs in a film.

I think Jurassic World would have been an okay mediocre action movie (albeit filled with irritating children and nostalgic pandering), but Vincent D'Onofrio's character dragged it way further into garbage territory
