OK, I was wondering if someone could help me out with a memory I have.
Back in the early to mid 90s I recall going into Toys "R" Us on at least one occasion and seeing a video game called "Fatal Furry". NO, not Fatal Fury, but FURRY with 2 R's. I was barely familiar with Fatal Fury at the time but knew that this was an obvious parody of it. The artwork showed Terry Bogard and company done up as animals. I now know these anthropomorphized animals to be known as furries. This was back when Toys "R" Us had those paper tickets that you would take to the counter and a guy would take it to the back to get the game for you. This would have been during the Genesis/SNES era.
I was reminded of this game recently and decided to do a search for it online but can't find any evidence that it actually happened. Am I mis-remembering things? I wonder if maybe it was a parody in an issue of Game Pro or something and somehow have this false memory of actually seeing the game at the store?
Does anyone know what the hell I am talking about?

It almost makes me wonder if someone had done some original artwork and slipped into into a Fatal Fury slot as a prank/joke.

My first thought was there was a game called Brutal: Paws of Fury ... maybe it was an ad for that?

My first thought was there was a game called Brutal: Paws of Fury ... maybe it was an ad for that? Thank you. Apparently this is what it was. I specifically recall that artwork now. I apparently just mis-remembered it as a parody called "Fatal Furry". Strange how the mind works.

I remember a preview for a Terminator movie with gold endoskeletons fighting the human resistance in the desert.
I could swear I actually saw this preview, but it obviously could not have actually happened. I think you are mis remembering.

This? Out of all the fighters the system had at the time: this was one of them. It was mediocre.
