Had to test a lot of SNES and Genesis games for someone. So many sports games. Truth be told I rather play some of these sports game then today's sports games. They more fun now. Also Desert Strike needs a remake on PS4

EA were a genuinely good company back in the 16-bit. Road Rash, Desert/Jungle Strike, NHL and FIFA (amongst others) were all fantastic.

They have always made great games.
But they have always been a bunch of assholes when it comes to business practices.

The annoying thing about EA is that there games arent shit. They're just half assed. Like Battlefront. It's a good game but could have been so much better if they didn't half ass it by leaving out a single player campaign and gave us more maps.

I actually opened up my laptop just now to work on my Road Rash 3 review for my blog (link in the sig). Already did Road Rash 1 and 2. Road Rash 2 was my jam back in the day That's another game that should be around these days Remember that infamous PSP game where they just butchered the soundtrack? Oh, they butchered the soundtrack to all 3 games. I was always confused why they literally just made the 1 and 2 soundtracks the same on that compilation, and then 3 had a totally different soundtrack.

EA still makes good games. Just that their business practices and employment conditions are terrible.

without the GREATEST EVER ice hockey games ..... EA HOCKEY ..... i wouldn't have spent thirty years on simming my competitions for it, and go on to use NHLPA93 for it too!
then they ruined it by making a worse game engine for 95 .....

And now you know. Great game. 1, 2, and the 3DO/PSX ones with the FMVs are my favorites ever. Strike series, fantastic franchise. Haunting: Starring Polterguy, this genre needs a comeback. Very unique for it's day.

I hate EA as a publisher for its business practices, both to its customers and to its development teams. I don't know why any developers would subject themselves to working for EA unless they were totally green and simply needed the experience. In any case, EA does own some good development teams, and so here is a list of some EA games that I enjoy:
Road Rash
American McGee's Alice and its sequel
Clive Barker's Undying
The System Shock series
The Crysis series, particularly the original and Crysis: Warhead
I used to like the NHL series of games, but that changed once I played NHL 2K2. Ever since then, I've always preferred the 2K series for the way it controls.
