The only way I'd buy it in parts is of each cost 30 or less. No way I'm spending 60 plus each for them and have to pay over 200 in the end after sales tax Not an ideal comparison, but another remake from that time period, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, is selling at $40, which is awfully generous coming from Activision Blizzard. Somebody needs to tell him that games should not take forever just to set up prose. There's delaying just to ensure it's the best it can be, & procrastinating. the way I look at it, in this generation a console game costs me $90 canadian after taxes. no way in hell am I paying that much for a third of a finished product. |

Pretty sure this is the way the higher-ups at SE got to Nomura and told him "either you get off your high horse and start actually making games on schedule, or you can go to form an indy studio that will never have the money you want to put pouches and belts on everything". Is Nomura infamous for lateness? As far as I'm aware, he's only been a director on KH games and FFVII spin-offs and I never heard about any of them having schedule issues before. |

Noooo way that could be trimmed down any. WWE with all the DLC this year is 70.48GB which is one of the highest i've seen next to Arkham Knight which had I think 77 GB with all the DLC |

Hmm waited 10 years for FF13 Versus aka FF15 (since it took 10 years they had to add 2 numbers to it) then another 10 years still waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3, now it'll be over 20 years since FF7 first came out (Sept 1997) until today when the remake should've been released, holy hell now I know why they are called Final Fantasy games (Kingdom Hearts being a FF spinoff it counts too) because when they FINALLY come out you better savor the frick out of them for 10 years or so until the next installment ever gets finished

Metal Gear Rising takes up 26 gigs on PC but it has so many uncompressed textures, cutscenes and shit that Platinum could have knocked off at least 10 gigs. |

Well, they're no strangers to that either, among the upcoming projects from Square-Enix are Battalion 1944, Project Octopath Traveler, and Project Prelude Rune, and just last year they had I Am Setsuna, whatever Moon Hunters is, and whatever The Turing Test is. They typically don't make as big a deal over new stuff but Square certainly does more than just Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. |

Sounds like the FF7 remake is having development hell. Honestly I question how Nomura still has any major pull besides "I made Kingdom Hearts 10 years ago and I designed some outfits in FFVII..." He's got a god awful track record and you'd think after FF Versus XIII and FF13 being as bad as it was, they would can him, and honestly they should. You can't have a 10 year development cycle for one game and break even today. People want good games and they want it now.
