My grades for the conferences so far: EA - D Microsoft - B+ Ubisoft - A- Sony - C close to mine... Don't remember EA's though so I can't rate it. But I'd give Bethesda a D. I give Bethesda's a grade of "WTF was that?"

Major dissapointment with Sony the least I was expecting was atleast a new Last Of us 2 teaser and instead gave pretty much nothing.
I was about to hop outta my chair for that shadow of the collosus thinking it was a sequel announcement but nope just a remake.

Overall for me, to keep things at a couple of sentences for each.
EA: They tried to be hip but didn't know HOW to be hip so it resulted in a pretty messy conference. Which is a shame because Battlefront 2 and Anthem (which was at the Microsoft conference) look SUPER good.
Microsoft: Genuinely made me want to consider buying an Xbox One. Good stuff all around, clarification on stuff I wanted to know about (Cuphead, Crackdown) but not really interested in an X. An S, sure.
Bethesda: Fine. Showed what they needed to, Wolvenstein 2 looks GREAT, and made sure to say what was going on throughout their brands. But they probably didn't need the conference.
Ubisoft: Good range of stuff here from Ubisoft, a few genuine solid surprises there too (Mario x Rabbids XCom being a BIG one). Michel Ancel wiping a tear from his eye is probably the most human moment E3's ever had, dude's fought to get Beyond Good and Evil 2 off the ground for a literal decade.
Sony: I feel like their pacing was weird in that they had their indie stuff before the show and showed more stuff that they had in their back pocket for later. It felt like a Microsoft show when the 360 was leading rather than what seemed like the typical eventful Sony show.
Looking at all these shows, some of them did feel like they had to do it just to do it. Sony, Bethesda and Microsoft (outside of a few bits) didn't need to book a venue but I guess keeping up appearances is important. Strangely, Ubisoft probably had the best conference but none really felt super epic like they usually would. Bold prediction; next year, one of the companies mentioned above will just do a Nintendo Direct thing next year and it'll probably be Bethesda.

It's probably why they're all having their own streaming events throughout the week and such.

Spider-Man looked great, was actually a little surprised to see it was Insomniac instead of Rocksteady as it looked and felt so much like an Arkham game. Definitely on board for the Shadow Of The Colossus remake and a proper console Monster Hunter is always gonna make me happy. Days Gone still looks great, God Of War is a no-brainer for me. Overall, I was happy with Sony's conference.
Microsoft impressed me as well, they actually realized the key to a good showing at E3 is games games games.... Anthem looks incredible, but I'm getting such bad Destiny/Division/Watch Dogs flashbacks, I'll be shocked if it's still in that form when released... I'm looking forward to Cuphead as the art style intrigues the hell out of me... speaking of art style, it seems like indy games are all about "Hey, here's a trailer, look at this wacky art style! Hope that sells you, because we will explain nothing else about this game!" It's almost as bad as the trailer cliche of "CGI art that doesn't give you a feel of the gameplay, lots of emotional, cinematic cuts, set to a slowed down, depressing, cover of a popular song."
Bethesda.... honestly should've just taken a cue for Popcap a few years ago and had someone walk out on stage, jump up with his fist in the air and say, "WOLFENSTEIN 2!!!" then walked off stage while the reveal played. Granted, there's not a lot Bethesda can really show right now... but they're gonna need another epic showing next year or they should be relegated to premiering their games during Microsoft or Sony's conferences until they can announce and show footage of Elder Scrolls 6.

True. It's a Catch 22 really. In the end I guess they are going for the "sure money" because there is a market for the stuff they are releasing even if it is for something old. In this instance it works just because everyone else didn't even dare put a release date on any of their material but at least they can so you will have this item on this exact date

Battlefront, The Last Night, Wolfenstein 2, and Dragonball Fighter Z were my highlights. Spider-Man and Anthem look pretty great as well.

Pretty hype from this year's Nintendo Direct. I'd give it an A.

Odyssey was pretty awesome.
liked their stop asking it's coming response to Pokemon Switch, and sorta the same thing with Metroid Prime 4.
Kirby looks like it could be a lot of fun especially coop.
Not sure I'd give Nintendo an A but I really enjoyed their direct.
