Show doesn't start until Tuesday, but EA already had a press conference and Microsoft will discuss the Scorpio later tonight.

I'm used to all the conferences (and Nintendo Direct) being on Monday and Tuesday when the actual show starts then. The weekend pressers for both EA and MS threw me off.
Though the EA conference was... lol.
I'm probably going to be paying the most attention to the Sony conference this year. They've been knocking it out of the park the past couple of years and word on the street is that MS' conference is mostly going to focus on showing off their Xbox One for the Top 1% Gamer: Project Hank Scorpio, which I personally couldn't give a shit about.

Just need me some gameplay of the new DBZ game , Borderlands 3 and and hopeful surprise of Bayonetta 3 being announced.
The Xbox scorpio presser should be fun...if just for the teraflop drinking game.

EA was mostly disappointing. That split-screen couch co-op game, A Way Out, was the highlight of the show to me. That game looks good, I'll be looking forward to seeing where they go with it.

I want a story mode like Blitz: The League's where you can use steroids and send prostitutes to your opponents' rooms the night before the game.

I have an Xbox One (which is collecting dust since I play PS4) but I don't have a 4K TV nor am I interested in one at this time until it becomes a industry wide standard for all media where 1080p becomes obsolete. That will probably be in 4 years time so until then I'm fine with what I have.

Gotta say, these realistic racing games do nothing for me. Yeah it looks great, but I prefer the more arcade-style racing games.

AC Origins and the new Metro game look fantastic.
While I don't like racing games, using racing games as tech demos is a tradition going back to Sony and the first Gran Turismo. It is gorgeous.
