I like the vast archives on WWE Network, but I have to admit, the dubbed music really pulls it down for me. I'd be willing to pay $3-5 more a month so they can acquire the music rights and use the real music. Some of the dubs are horribly bad.
What are some of the worst dubbed themes you've heard?
There are some obvious ones like DDP, but I can't stand the cartoon sounding music they gave to The Cat, The Artist, and Misfits in Action in WCW 2000. They all had great themes, but they didn't even try to replace those with anything good.
What are some that bother you?

The disco theme they gave the Midnight Express/Bobby Eaton.

These two bother me not because of how they sound, but because there is no reason for WWE to replace them in the first place. I'm talking about "Together" and "I'll Be Your Hero" from SummerSlam '91 and '93, respectively.
Jim Johnston wrote both of them (though "Together" is credited to him, Jimmy Hart, and JJ Maguire). Song publishing is credited to WWE subsidiary Stephanie Music, and both songs appeared on the three-disc Anthology set.
Not to mention that WWE has both original songs on its official YouTube channel!
Sandman at One Night Stand 2005. I knew this one would be dubbed over considering how demanding Metallica is when it comes to using their music. The problem is that it also forced WWE to remove Mick Foley saying, "Joey, they are actually singing along to the song!" I always thought that was a cool comment.

Though I dislike that they dubbed Enter Sandman, I do enjoy the song that they used. Wish that would have ended up being his WWE Theme instead of what he ended up with when he signed.

On a similar note, two August 1993 Raw episodes on the Network don't have the Randy Savage and Jim Duggan music videos of their songs on "WrestleMania: The Album." Every song on that album was done by the same group of composers, and WWE has no problem using the "WrestleMania" and "SummerSlam Jam" songs that those guys made. The video for "WrestleMania" is on WWE's YouTube channel, too.

Every dubbed theme bothers me, it really ruins it, strange but it really does.

I haven't watched much classic ECW on the network. I imagine a lot of the energy is lost without the licensed music

If themes are dubbed over this also means (especially for stuff made before 2000 something), redone/recorded overdubbed ring announcing.

Some of the re-recordings of Howard Finkel's announcements are because he said "WWF" instead of "World Wrestling Federation." For whatever reason, changing the music doesn't affect Michael Buffer's announcements on WCW shows at all.

The disco theme they gave the Midnight Express/Bobby Eaton. First one I thought of too. What the hell were they thinking?

New Jack/Gangstas, for obvious reasons. It's no surprise when a man dies and nobody cries in the ghetto

There was a tribute/highlight video of Bret Hart set to a Tom Petty song (Makin' Some Noise, if it matters). That's gone.

It's not so much a worse dub, but it's so weird hearing Break The Walls Down as Chris Jericho comes out on WCW Monday Nitro. It just doesn't feel right.

I've been watching a lot of old ECW Hardcore TV lately and it's just not right with all the overdubbed music in general. Part of what made the show cool was that it had popular current music of the time. To hear a bunch of corny generic stuff instead makes the show seem kind of lame.
