Metal and Jakked were the exact same, right?

I wasn't the smartest of kids (little has changed), so I never realized they taped Metal before RAW and thought it was its own separate thing. Used to feel the greatest sympathy for the crowd buying WWF tickets only to see Joey Abs versus Local Guy.

Why is this being called a forgotten show? Pretty much everyone who was watching wrestling at the time seems to remember it.

Metal and Jakked were the exact same, right? Pretty much except metal had different announcers and they changed up the match order.

Metal and Jakked were the exact same, right? Pretty much except metal had different announcers and they changed up the match order. Also, it seemed that Metal aired during the day on local channels, while Jakked aired late at night.

Yeah I remember staying up until 12am or 1am just to watch it a few times during the summer.
Really wish they they would put this along with heat on the network

Used to feel the greatest sympathy for the crowd buying WWF tickets only to see Joey Abs versus Local Guy. I used to think that about Sunday Night Heat and was always confused why people spent money to watch Stevie Richards vs. Val Venus main event.

I know one of them was on at like 1AM on Saturday nights. Jakked normally aired late at night. Had more of an Attitude for lack of s better term. I know it aired for me in Canada at 1am and 4am on twi separate channels. Metal would air in the day time with different announcers, the match order changed up, and geared more towards younger audiences.

Metal and Jakked were the exact same, right? At least here in Canada, Metal and Jacked did have differences. Mainly in censorship, I remember weapon shots being censored on Metal because it aired earlier in the day while Jakked would be uncensored.

I always thought Metal was just the UK version of Jakked as I am sure we did not get Jakked in the UK

Most of these shows just blur as we in the UK got different one every now and then
- Shotgun Challenge - Jakked - Metal - Blast Off - Livewire

I mark for the B-Shows. Never watched Metal or Jakked (Before my time) but I did enjoy watching Sunday Night Heat every week which aired here in Australia AFTER Smackdown on a Sunday afternoon.
I remember many matches which mainly featured Lance Cade, Trevor Murdoch, Val Venis and Viscera. Matt Striker was always beating up job guys and I remember Rob Conway appearing many times as well. Good times.

Been so long since I watched it, but I thought Jakked was subtitled "Big Bossman Main Event of the Week". And the same match kicked off Metal.

I always thought Metal was just the UK version of Jakked as I am sure we did not get Jakked in the UK I think we did, we used to get a lot of these sort of recap and b-shows played first thing in the morning (7AM I think) on Sky Sports. Certainly two of the shows were essentially the same with different names because I remember it annoying me as a kid.

Only saw Jakked once and never saw Metal. Neither aired in my area.
