You remember how heartbreaking it was to see a legend not being able to go anymore. With that in mind... Who are your top wrestlers you'd hate to see in a similar position? Imagine if a wrestler you loved years from now were at a ppv and it was clear they were beyond their time. Who would impact you the most?

I can't really call myself a fan, but I appreciate everything he's given to dis business and it'd be sad to see a broken down Big Show.

Im so glad Austin has decided to stay away for good.
Id cry seeing him stumble bumble like Taker did at 33.

Undertaker has been, and always will be, my favorite wrestler.
That.. was sad. I don't pity him, because I know he did it willingly, and I'm sure Vince paid him handsomely, but.. still.
I think he keeps coming back because the paydays are too lucrative, and he's loyal to Vince. I hope Vince lets that match be it, because as sad as it was, you couldn't have scripted a more realistic final match.

Most of my favorites are dead and never got to wrestle into old age.
I do think seeing a superhero like Cena in this state will be pretty sad, though.

Seeing Orton or Cena like that in 10 years time will be real sad for me
As of right now HHH can still go but father time is undefeated and you wonder when the clock will strike on him losing his ability and starting to "look old"

I'm glad Shawn stepped aside before it became embarrassing. Just because you can still go doesn't mean you have to.
Still, the biggest embarrassment was Bret getting back in the ring. He couldn't even take a bump, yet he's winning matches by doing next to nothing.

Hell, watching his last match back and knowing the hospital scare, the pain he was in, the three rock bottoms, plus Rock thanking him after, it kinda already was.

Honestly the thing is Taker really probably should've just retired after Mania 25. He had some great matches after that but after his comeback later on in 2009 he was never the same.

If HBK had come back for that AJ match and he'd failed something like nipping up and just fallen down then I'd be so sad. I'm glad he's stayed away even though he still looks in good shape.

It was heartbreaking by design. Yes, he did have notable physical problems going into the match...but quite a bit of it was played up because the story of the match was that he was broken down and could not go anymore. There was a mixture of real life and selling going on.
Also, I am convinced that the botched tombstone reversal spot is totally Reign's fault. Reigns can go in the ring, but every time I've seen that spot it seems pretty clear to me that he's the one who made the mistake.

Can we still live in a kayfabe world?
To me, doesn't it look more like Taker is deadweighting Reigns and not letting him tombstone him. Suspend the disbelief!

Not a wrestler but a broken down Vince would make me sad Not if we get a similar promo from Vince like Freddie Blassie from Invasion 2001. Crazy old man Vince getting up from his wheelchair and giving a final speech would be fantastic.

Yeah, maybe Taker jumped before Reigns was ready but it looks mostly on Reigns not being able to Hold taker up. It also wouldn't be the first time they tried to have Reigns lift someone and him fall on his ass... see like any time he tried the schoolboy powerbomb spot.

His dead weight counter has been so effective that he's trying to transition from defense to offense and clamp on a head scissors!
