Lauri Dalla Valle retired at age 26. His legacy as a footballer is stating that he doesn't know if he'll play for Finland or Italy at adult level. Turns out, he wasn't good enough for either one. I remember he played a handful of times for my local team, Exeter. He was useless. He was shite at Crewe as well, although his potential always meant he could be sold for a decent amount in Fifa. And St. Mirren have appointed Alan Stubbs as their manager.

International football needs a WWE style championship that is defended whenever the reigning champions play someone.

USA draws with France tonight.
I'm really impressed with these guys, but it may leave something to the imagination for Le Francois.

International football needs a WWE style championship that is defended whenever the reigning champions play someone. There's some very unofficial ones. I think Romania is the current holder of Bâton de Nasazzi. Think that one goes back to first England-Scotland match. Edit: btw, went to see Finland-Belarus yesterday. Was a fun match, Finland won 2-0. Very, very impressed by Glen Kamara, who absolutely bossed the midfield until he was substituted. For those who've seen Dundee this year, has he been like that the whole time?

Benik Afobe has joined Stoke 12 days after signing for Wolves.
Meanwhile, Rui Patricio, Bruno Fernandes, William Carvalho and Gelson Martins have all declared their intentions to terminate their contracts with Sporting Lisbon after they were amongst a number of players attacked at the club's training ground last month by 50 masked and armed thugs.

Arsenal apparently close to signing Torreira and Leno, this after already signing Lichtsteiner and Sokratis. It's very strange seeing us so active so early in the transfer market, but I love it. There's also rumours of us interested in Gleason Martins and Caglar Soyuncu, I've wanted the latter for a couple of years now so that'd be awesome.
Also, Martial wants out of Man Utd. The 3 year Mourinho implosion is on course.

No way in a million years would Wenger look at signing a 34 year old full back. I'm all for it, we need leaders in that squad.

Preliminary round final – 29 June La Fiorita (SMR)/Lincoln Red Imps (GIB) v FC Santa Coloma (AND)/Drita (KOS)
The preliminary round is a one-venue mini-tournament consisting of a semi-final round and a final (all one-off matches). This season's tournament will take place at the Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar.
The winners of the final round enter the first qualifying round on 10/11 & 17/18 July, with their opponents decided in the draw on 19 June. The three losing teams transfer to the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round.
i like the idea of having mini tournaments for the early rounds, they should expand this idea
