Starting episode two now, and I think this Xia Li has something. It's raw and needs seasoning, but I think there's something to her. Of all the Chinese Prospects Ive seen so far, she has shown be the most something. Then again maybe Bin Wang has some untapped power we havent seen yet ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Piper Niven isnt signed is she? She should be though. According to The Kevstaaa she is, dont know his source he just said it in his review on the page here If it's because of the name change, it's likely less "she's signed" and more "she had to have a name change because Randy Orton's the only Viper in WWE", as was said earlier in the thread.

So out of the second round field(and tag it in spoilers, if you have to), who is signed to a contract by WWE, and who's freelance?

I don't think catering could survive if they signed Piper. With Nia, Joe, and Bray already....
Hope they don't sign her really.

If she's not signed, my mistake, though it's odd they changed her name. Also, I kept calling her Piper Nevin, even though it's Niven. Whoops.

Abbey Laith, Bianca Belair, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, and Lacey Evans all advanced into roun two and have contracts from before the tournament. The other eleven are all freelance, and so far WWE has not signed anyone from the tournament.

If Toni Storm and Viper were signed, they probably won't be in the PC for a bit as they're doing dates in Japan right now and probably have other dates/commitments with other feds. Not sure about anyone else, I know a bunch of people are doing dates going into October so we'll probably not know officially whose signed from the unsigned group for a while.

I don't think they did any signings from the CWC until that was just short of finished too. They're probably waiting to measure fan response on some specific women and feeling things out before they make any moves, but with the news story after round one that they want to do more signings than previously expected due to how many competitors impressed them, I think we'll be seeing a really nice influx trickling in, it'll just take a bit of time for some of them due to their indie bookings. Toni Storm would have to drop titles in Progress and Stardom before making her way over.

This might be me being bold but considering that they might want to keep working on the UK brand for the end of this year/beginning of next year, I could see them building a UK womens division around Toni Storm and keep her on the same kind of contract as the other UK talent until things are figured out more. Again, SUPER bold of me to say and I'll probably be wrong but considering the relationships they're building with PROGRESS and ICW, I don't see why they wouldn't.

Judging a wrestler because of their body shape has to be the number one thing I'm sick of on this board. I actually used to find the ones about male wrestlers funny, but when they started getting applied to women - who have a hideous amount of body image pressure already; not that men don't, but it really is dwarfed by what women get - I realised how distasteful they are. I also think it's especially ridiculous for us to do it on here, because without being unfair... we're a bunch of dickheads on the internet, and I don't know what anyone on here apart from me looks like but I'm willing to bet that in physical power, cardio and a bunch of other things, Piper Niven would leave us in the dust athletically, regardless of what she looks like.

They definitely leave me for dead. Yeah, some of these people carry a belly, but they also have better cardio and fitness than I've ever had.

If only Alpha Female was the child or cousin of a WWE HOF. She is a better Monster Heel then Tamina/Nia in every conceivable way, hell the green performance center girl from India is already better then Tamina

I had zero expectations for that Indian woman, and while I think she probably WAS the worst wrestler in the tournament, she still somehow outperformed any Tamina match I've ever seen.

I seriously hope that HHH's comments about {Spoiler}"We already did this once before, and it cost me too much money!" in response to the "Please Sign Jazzy!" chants that happened during the tapings... don't mean that they have no intentions on signing her...

And they brought her back for a dark match on the most recent NXT taping block, so she's probably closer to getting signed than not being signed, at worst.

That's all kind of awesome.
