Despite being close friends with NXT coach Sarah Stock, I just don't think WWE is looking to sign Sugehit. I think her being included in the tournament at all may have been a bit of a favor to Stock. Sugehit has talked about retiring over the past few years. She may have decided that losing her mask at a CMLL Anniversary show would be one of her last big paydays. It is historic in that she is the first woman to lose her mask at a CMLL Anniversary show. Women's singles matches are rare on those shows as well. Her opponent is Zeuxis who had a tryout with WWE last year, though I suppose they have decided to pass on her. Zeuxis is 28 and is pretty much their top woman. Sugehit was the right person to lose the mask in that match.

True... but I still think it'd be better for them if she'd never been unmasked, just have a new character like Sin Cara/Kallisto Fair, but at that point it wouldn't have been WWE's call, it would have been CMLL's. If she is indeed WWE-bound, it feels like a "Well, you're out, so you're going to put her over in a very big way". At least as far as retirement goes, a lot of people on the indies and elsewhere have courted retirement, had WWE come knocking, and decide a few years making some of the biggest money there is to make is worth having that nest egg to retire in on. Not saying it's a guarantee she's going, just that it would be far from the first time someone was looking totake their leave before a bag of money with WWE's logo swayed them to give it a bit longer.
