Daniel Bryan has made it no secret that he wants to Wrestle again and when listening to him on Edge & Christian's Pod of Awesomeness a couple of weeks ago it sounded to me he was pretty much forced to retire and rightly so for the companies point of view but various tests he gets say one thing and others say another.
It's got me thinking that he may just be playing a waiting game for his contract to expire and once it does he will be back in the indys where the list of awesome matches he could have is endless, Not that there isn't a good amount of matches he could have in the WWE either.
I remember Bryan saying somewhere when he was fired before and he went to the indys he was actually making more money than he was in the WWE which I'm sure his salary has shot up since then but obviously he knows he can make very good money outside of the WWE which is not what it's about for him anyway you can tell that by the way he talks about his passion for his job.
Anyway what is your opinion on this matter? Do you think eventually we will see him wrestle with the WWE again once his various tests and stuff are all sorted? Or do you think once his deal is up he will leave and go back to being an indy darling like he once was?

Its his body and his decision. I still think he's a fool for considering this, though.

He's pretty much just playing the waiting game. Bryan Danielson is gonna kick some f***ing heads in next year. Impact Wrestling could use a boost, and he could go down there with Brie. And heck. Maybe, just maybe someday, brother in-law Cena could join him? It's about time, some wrestlers don't stay too loyal to WWE, even though they pretty much have their whole careers on tape. John Cena and Daniel Bryan could be the two guys who can turn around the company, unlike in 2010, when they thought Hogan and Bischoff could.

I'm positive he'll wrestle again. If he has any sense he won't but I'm positive he will.

I could see Bryan winding up in a lot of places... but Impact Wrestling is not one of them.

TNA could somehow get Cena, Bryan, Austin, Rock, and Punk all at once and they'd still somehow be struggling to keep the lights on within two months. They're a lost cause.

I doubt he is stupid enough to to to that place, and his wife won't join him if he does, she wont risk her tv shows and merchandise from getting cancelled

No one else could "save" Impact. What makes you think Cena and others can?

People thought the same when Angle, RVD, and Jeff Hardy went to TNA. All it got was fans asking them why the quit wrestling. I see the same happening for Bryan.

He's definitely gonna be in CMLL, NJPW, and ROH, and probably PWG.

PWG would be able to offer him a better full time contract with streaming distribution rights.
And PWG don’t have streaming distribution.

With the money the Brothers-in-Law are making, they could probably outright buy TNA from Anthem, turn it into a backyard wrestling fed at Cena's house, and it'd still draw better than current day Impact.

As soon as he's able, he'll be back in ROH and probably NJPW.
I could totally see Bryan Danielson being the guy who reignites some of the fire that the Bullet Club has lost. A feud with Omega for control would be amazing, hopefully with Danielson winning and Omega making his way to WWE.

With their eyes on the US, I see them trying to snatch up Bryan in in instant, which would open him up to work ROH and CMLL. Bryan is someone who'll probably go for less money just for the saske of the and to get back in the ring, but it'll still be a matter of trying to court him, and New Japan has the money to make it happen in ways that NOAH and (pfft) TNA really don't.
