Main show
1. Matt Taven (w/The Kingdom) beat Will Ospreay. Lots of interference of The Kingdom early on

2. War Machine (Hanson & Rowe) beat The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) after Fallout on Daniels

3. Jay Lethal beat Marty Scurll. ref bump and Scurll grabbed a chair. he tried to do an Eddie Guerrero and tossed the Lethal, who reversed it by placing it around his head and lying down. Scurll cracked Lethal in the head with an umbrella, but only got a two count. Lethal won after a low blow followed by Lethal Injection

4. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) (c) beat Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Beretta) to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Machine Guns heeled it up big time. finish came out of nowhere. Best Friends went for a piledriver/Dude Buster combination, but when Taylor tossed Sabin to Beretta, Sabin rolled him up for the pin.

5. Silas Young (w/Beer City Bruiser) beat Kenny King (c), Punishment Martinez and Shane Taylor in a Four-Way Elimination match to win the ROH World Television Championship
- Martinez eliminated Taylor after a springboard senton
- Young eliminated King after hitting him over the head with a beer bottle behind the ref’s back
- Young eliminated Martinez after Misery

6. Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Bricoe) beat Bully Ray & Tommy Dreamer in a New York Street Fight. tables, chairs, ladders, cheese grater, the kitchen sink. Ray & Dreamer bested the Briscoes in dueling chairs, so the Briscoes grabbed kendo sticks. Ray & Dreamer responded by getting lightsabers (huge “Use the Force” chant). finish say Ray try to set up a flaming table, the Briscoes stopped him before he could light it and hit a 3D on the table, which didn’t break so Mark gave him an Froggy Bow through the table for the win. post match (live, not aired on ppv), Bully Ray saluted the crowd and left his boots in the ring

- Ian Riccaboni brought out the Women of Honor and announced a tournament starting January 20 in Nashville, TN to crown the first Women of Honor Champion

7. The Hung Bucks (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson & Adam Page) (c) beat Flip Gordon, Dragon Lee & Titan to retain the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship. Scorpio Sky on commentary as Gordon’s friend. tons of flips and superkicks (do not attempt Chrom’s drinking game). finish saw the Hung Bucks hit a simultaneous Indytaker/Rite of Passage on Gordon and Titan. post match, Sky went to the ring to check on Gordon. The Addiction came in through the crowd and took out the Hung Bucks. Sky turned on Gordon (which they cut away from and completely missed), and posed with Addiction.

8. Dalton Castle beat Cody (c) to win the ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Cody has bleached his hair. Dalton came out The Boys and Cody came out with Brandi, but all three were ejected from ringside. ref bump and Dalton gets Cody to tap out, but ref still down. ref back up and Cody hits the Cross Rhodes, but Dalton kicks out at two. Dalton hits the Bang-A-Rang for the win and shocks the crowd! The Boys come out and form a human chair for the victory celebration.

Got to go last year at Hammerstein and it was a great show, but sadly the cheapest available seats left when I went to check for this time around were over $100.

Is renting the Hammerstein Ballroom for a show still like $100,000? I don’t get how any wrestling company can afford that. Sinclair must have some faith in ROH to justify that status symbol.

Just looked it up, this site has it listed at $25,000 for the day. But then again, it probably depends on the event and wrestling might have extra insurance costs. But I can't imagine that being $75,000 more. eventup.com/venue/the-hammerstein/

I've heard that story, but just out of curiosity I looked into seeing if I can find a more direct source. Because as you said $100,000 is ridiculous and even though ROH would still likely make some money, you would think at that point they would look into less expensive options.
