I just saw someone mention that the average person in the UK watches 3 hours and 40 minutes of TV everyday. This seemed really high to me, but maybe I'm the weird one.

I'll watch probably 2 hours at night on a week night and on the weekends more, it probably averages out to 3-4 hours a day.
That's including movies.

If you include streaming services, I’d say between 2-3 hours.

Most nights maybe 2 hours.
Got rid DISH in my room 4 years ago and don't really miss it. Between Hulu,Netflix and other sources I can watch the few shows I like.

I havent watched TV in about a year. I dont miss it.
Youtube gives you the better part of shows and I just stream whatever show I want to see.

I don't have Wifi, so I tend to keep it on as background noise. How much do I actually watch?..eh. Maybe 2-4 hours. That's when I'm at home, if I'm over at my girlfriends apartment, like none. Maybe 2 hours, maybe.

In the strictest sense.... zero.
But, since I count Youtube, Netflix, Twitch, etc,.. as TV as it's entertainment in my home without me having to do much... a couple hours a night, I suppose.

I just mainly watch for Raw, SmackDown and whatever weekly show I want to watch.

Sometimes I'll have QVC or HSN on as background noise, but other than that, pretty much just Raw and SmackDown. The Arrowverse shows I tend to watch on the CW app.
And... no, I don't have a great reason for watching QVC/HSN. It's weirdly good as background noise and to laugh at how incredibly wrong the salesman is at describing computer facts around Christmas time. Plus, I ended up actually buying a great computer table, so it works out.

If you count that I include watching YouTube through my Roku, I would have to estimate about a couple of hours a night.

Me and the wife usually watch one or two TV show episodes a night. Or sometimes a movie instead.
Sometimes I might watch a TV show too.
So nowhere near 3 hours.

Broadcast television during the week: about a half hour before going to work, 30-40 minutes during lunch, about an hour while eating in the evening, then an hour or two before getting some sleep. Usually the news, sometimes a cooking show.
I've noticed I've been spending more time working on projects on my computer and on the Internet than just sitting watching.

We probably average higher than most, but we both work from home and 90% of the time the television is on, it's just background noise. Every great once in a while we'll watch something we pay more attention than work and the wife is better at background noise stuff than I am. If I'm watching one of "my shows" or a movie I've not seen, I like to pay attention. I've gotten better recently at turning on series I've already watched and enjoyed during peak work hours, though.

Depends. If I’m in the house, it’s lilely on. I sleep with it on. Maybe a few hours a day. Or more.

Usually 2 or 3 hours on weekdays. Mostly primetime stuff between 7 to 10 PM. I watch Toonami on Saturdays and an hour on Sunday.

It depends on what's on, but usually I'm watching about 45 minutes in the morning and 2-3 hours at night.

TV's on a lot, but I use it as background noise for a lot of things versus actively watching it.

Maybe an hour. Kids usually have it tied up playing games.
