Saw the clip in question; yeah, was kinda dumb to me, but man, the "No Fun Allowed" mentality is tiring.
What Cody and the Bucks are doing is working for them; mahzel tov. I wouldn't have done that dropkick spot, but that's a blip on the radar, comparatively speaking.

I suppose but I find Cody trying to be a tough guy over twitter to people with any kind of criticism to be immediately more tiring. If people don’t like the spot, just move on. No need to do the bullshit “Oh you MMA fighters all wanna be wrestlers anyway” whiny child response.

I don't really see the "tough guy" act considering Cody didn't challenge anybody to a fight or anything. Maybe he should've just let it slide and not responded, but I also don't know if he was getting bugged by other people about it on his own account or whatever.

So, they're probably running against BOLA and King of Trios since they run that weekend and a Lucha Expo in Vegas which has Mysterio and Pentagon booked...that makes sense.

I'd imagine that won't be a huge issue. In fact, if they run the show in LA, setting it close to BOLA might help with booking talent.

The whole thing has fail written all over it. Apparently they're not even trying to get 10K, they're just trying to see how many people they can pack in. I thought the whole point of doing this was to get 10,000 people?

The funniest thing is Bullet Club fans getting mad and actually legitimately saying that Cody could beat up Cormier because Cody was an amateur wrestler and DC is just a brawler. Yeah poor DC who's an Olympic wrestler against Cody's scrub division 5 thanks for participating trophies. Ugh this were the same IWC fans who actually thought Punk was gonna win. If there were a fight between DC and Cody Rhodes, let's just all imagine how the Sub Zero original fatality from MK1 would look like in real life. I mean, there were people HERE who thought Becky Lynch could hang with Conor McGregor because she's done some training.

So, is Brookes the first non-BC member to be confirmed for this? Also, kind of interesting that Kenny didn't post anything about this. EDIT: LOL nope, never mind.

Let's not act like KoTs is anything important anymore and I imagine the Bucks talked to Dragon about it, if they even planned on running that weekend (I doubt the PWG guys plan that far in advance).

Doesn't seem like Bryan figures into their plans if they're going with a September 1 date.

Yeah that's the big thing. Even if you had done some training, there's a big sidference between someone who trains a little bit and even regional level guys and gals, let alone two guys who are very much ELITE level fighters.

Cody is a big draw actually. The place was on fire for him in Pittsburgh during the Global Wars show. His lines for photos were as long as Omegas. The Bucks moved as fast and Marty's did. Cody has gate numbers that show he is a draw. Shhhh...you're ruining the "Nobody likes Cody and he sucks" narrative that people have built somehow, despite it clearly not being true. Just ignore that post, everyone. And continue to ignore the lines of people waiting to meet him, and the sell out crowds, and the Japanese people loving him, and his good match ratings, and the fact that he has actually made more money on the indies than he did while being on national tv for the biggest arestling company in the world. Move along. Nothing to see there. Just remember, "Cody sucks and no one likes him and he doesn't draw".
