I think it’s my favorite of the cap movies. I like world war 2 movies so that might be why I also loved agent carter

Might be alone in thinking that this was far and away the weakest film in the MCU. The retcon of Cap as a USO performer was awful, and I felt like they could have done a much better job of making HYDRA a threat sans magical space age technology. Fantastic concept, weak execution. Totally agree. After IM1 which was really well done, CaptAm1 felt like total filler. His character had no arc at all and the entire story could have been told in a flashback. One of the more pointless films in the MCU catalog. Especially considering how much better the 2nd one was. For me, his story doesn't even begin to get interesting until he's unfrozen and has to deal with being an old hero in a modern era. Everything before that is so generic it made First Avenger a chore to watch.

This movie really needed Captain America rescuing the president after he gets kidnapped by evil foreigners.

The USO stuff was far too long (and insane for the government to think he is best used that way), but I suppose it got us inside his head a bit being frustrated at not seeing action

Still a really good flick. Joe Johnston was the perfect director to start off the Cap flicks..I do wonder if they'll ever touch back on Red Skull.

They need to find a way to work Star Spangled Man in another Cap Movie I want a somber version playing during the scene when Cap is dying (if it happens) in Infinity War or Avengers 4.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see him again eventually, they pretty blatantly planned on leaving the door open as they pretty much made certain to show that he disappeared and not died.

This movie really needed Captain America rescuing the president after he gets kidnapped by evil foreigners. I believe Cap is a Bad enough Dude to help in that given situation.

It’s a bittersweet movie for me, because the day I saw it in the theater was the last time I got to see one of my mother’s dogs before she got hit by a car and had to be put down a few weeks later.
I like the movie, but it has that personal cloud over it.

That's good news, Weaving's performance was great. What would be super cool is, if Cap was to die and Mackie took over like Falcon did in the comics, that he'd pick that time to come back and cause chaos when Captain America died, so that's the time he takes the mantle.

My favorite of the MCU movies. This, Winter Soldier, and Iron Man are head and shoulders above all the rest.

Of the "Big Three" Avengers with solo film trilogies, I think the three Cap films are by far the best.

Aww, that was one of the best parts of the film. I have "star spangled man with a plan" on iTunes To each his own. For what it’s worth I though Winter Soldier was excellent, and Civil War was the best comic book movie so far. The battle scene in Civil War is my favorite thing in all the movies. Everyone played their roles amazingly, but to me Ant Man stole the show.
