Yep, it's December. That means we're almost at the end of another year of WWE wrestling. As Vince's ship of misfits and malcontents sail towards 2018, it's almost time for one of the Freakin' Awesome Network's annual traditions... For the seventh year, we will be having us our FAN WWE Awards, lovingly dubbed the "Golden Snowcones". For once, there will be no changes to the format from the previous year, as we retain the same 21 categories from 2016. As usual, these awards should cover the most important events of WWE this year... Categories (21): Best Male Superstar Worst Male Superstar Best Female Superstar The Eva Marie Memorial Snowcone for Worst Female Superstar Best Tag Team Worst Tag Team Best Match Worst Match Best Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment Worst Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment Best PPV/Major Event Worst PPV/Major Event Best Feud Worst Feud Most Improved Superstar Most Exciting Moment Most Hilarious Moment Most Disappointing Moment Most Embarrassing Moment Most WTF? Moment Best SpotNOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOTED IN THE 2017 FAN WWE AWARDS.From here, the results will be calculated and the winners will be announced in an article on the main website at www.freakinawesomenetwork.net on or around New Year's Day 2018, pending my increasingly turbulent real life. And as always, do remember that it's all in good fun. Past Results:2011201220132014 Part 1 - 2014 Part 220152016

I've already filled in a rough draft that may look nothing like my final submission, but there a few categories in particular that are going to be very interesting to see play out. And a couple that you might as well announce right now.

I think Primo might snag Worst Tag Team out of sheer lack of booking. And I think I might even cast that vote. Even though The Club are more endearing shilling WWE merch than they are at anything else, it's still something.

Worst Tag Team was definitely one of the intriguing Snowcones, because it really comes down to whether or not you want to vote down a team that hasn't much TV time at all like the Colons or the Hype Bros, or if you want to go with a team that's had a bit more TV time, but at the same time, they don't feel like they should be in contention, like the Good Brothers, Slater and Rhyno, or The Ascencion. You could also vote down one of the tag teams that got broken up in the early part of this year, but does voting for Golden Truth, Enzo and Cass, or American Alpha really encapsulate the 2017 Tag Division?

Yeah, the tag divisions this year were shit. The favorable booking that New Day, Usos and to a lesser extent that The Bar got, it didn't come close to trickling down to anyone else.

Can't wait to see the Best and Worst Male Star be the same person.
Actually I take that back, I bet AJ wins the Best Male Star.

Can't wait to see the Best and Worst Male Star be the same person. We almost actually had that happen with AJ Lee one year for Best Female and Worst Female, until a late swing of votes for Aksana in the latter category.

I have a feeling I already know how most of those awards are going to go.

I don't know if I would call the tag divisions shit, because the tag teams put out some of the best work of the entire year across all three brands. It's just that there were some really awesome teams that got to shine, and then there's teams that had very little to work with, and absolutely no middle ground in any of that.

Yeah, we agree I think. I mean when I think of WWE's tag division this year it's either going to be that a lot of teams needlessly broke up or that teams were on TV so infrequently that they're often rumored to be leaving. Not a good year. Back in 2011 or so, I remember thinking: 'well... damn. they can't bring up edge & christian, the hardyz forever and the dudleyz can they?' And they can't. 10 years from now or so, they'll bring up New Day & The Usos. They deserve it. They did really good work this year. But it's still just two teams. Four if you wanna count the teams currently feuding on RAW. But that's not a healthy division.

Anyone voting The Ascension worst tag team clearly hasn't been attention to their supporting role in The Fashion Files.

The only one of these I feel like has a 100% concrete answer is Worst Promo/Segment. Thereβs been some stinkers, but thereβs one to me that really sticks out.
I was also surprised at how quickly I picked a best match. There was one match that has just stuck in my head for all the months since it happened. Hopefully it gets some love here.

Bayley: This is Your Life? That probably gets my vote for worst segment.

Male Superstar of the Year is a big no-brainer, just like it was last year.

This really has been a good year.
Its not going to be fun read for Jinder, that's for sure.
Crazy to see how quick the year flew by. We didn't have a good start with from the boring ass Rumble up until late March, but there have been a lot of twists and turns throughout.

Male Superstar of the Year is a big no-brainer, just like it was last year. So is best promo/segment. I know what's likely to win best promo/segment, but there is one certain brawl that I think has a chance of taking an upset considering how over it got a certain person.

As much as I will vote Jinder as my worst male wrestler, Jason Jordan has just a strong case for that.

This might seem like a stupid question but is this just WWE or is NXT included in this as well?
