The only nomination I'm stuck on is Best Spot. I feel like there's an obvious one but I can't put my finger on it.

The only nomination I'm stuck on is Best Spot. I feel like there's an obvious one but I can't put my finger on it. This is actually one of the more loaded categories. The Singh Brothers could easily account for several spots on their own, from Randy Orton nearly killing one with a back suplex through a table to the Punjabi Prison fall. I've considered Braun throwing an office chair like a javelin. There's several spots from War Games where the Authors of Pain and Killian Dain looked absolute beasts. And there's the DIY Double Knee and Shatter Machine sequence from NXT Takeover Orlando onto the Authors of Pain. Then there's the time AJ Styles countered the RKO Outta Nowhere. The challenge here is actually remembering this stuff from the insane amount of programming this company puts out. |

Nobody can even compete with Braun and AJ for best male superstar.
I assume a ton of salty people will vote Bliss for worst female superstar. I'm just sad Absolution and Riott Squad won't have been around long enough to co-win this.

There’s never really been that kind of “axe to grind” hate vote in these things except for maybe the earlier cited example of AJ Lee a few years back. She definitely is an eligible vote as a featured character on the show, but the All Red Wall has been in the way for this entire Authority run. It’ll be interesting to see how the votes fall with no Eva Marie. |

Worst Male Superstar is going to be an especially interesting one, because Roman will never win it--even if he got third last year--but I feel like Jinder has a really good chance of taking it home and oh man would a dude who held the world title for half the year being voted worst be a something.

It’s not unprecedented, though. Alberto Del Rio won Worst Male Superstar in 2013 (a back-to-back win in the category) despite two separate runs as World Heavyweight Champion which amounted to about half the year in total. |

Actually, if Roman doesn't "win" I'll be surprised. There's a chance for next year, I think, when he finally beats Lesnar and then gets back onto the top of the mountain, but right now I don't think the hate is there enough for him. There's people who hate him to near comical degrees, but that is all totally eclipsed by the Jinder pushback, and unlike Roman, his detractors don't concede "But he can put on a good match at least". If Jinder had not stepped up then it's fully possible, but even retiring Taker seems eclipsed by the run Jinder has had and just how much hate it's received. |

Even as a huge supporter of the guy, I won't be shocked if Jinder ends up taking Worst Male Superstar simply because all of the work he put in his physical appearance didn't help the crap booking (both in promos and matches) that nullified his attempts to hang in over his head. That, combined with the fact there really isn't many people on the roster I'd say were worse when it came to their performance vs expectations.
I think the real contentious categories are going to be Most Disappointing Moment and Most Embarrassing Moment. I swear there's a countless number of things I can think of off the top of my head for these, mostly because the WWE was pretty much all Disappointing and Embarrassing from a hardcore fan standpoint.
