I know this is a REALLY old Cap'n Crunch Cereal contest, but I'm just wondering if anyone remembers it. I was 4 or 5 years old when it started and it always stuck with me after all these years. Did any body on here actually win any money from it?

85 sounds about right though.
Yeah, I recall that. I also had a couple of glow in the dark Soggies that were the prize in the box one month.

I was just wondering if they did a later version of the contest... cause I remember a where's teh cap'n type thing, but 85 I'd be way too young for it. Unless I had an old VHS of something which I suppose is also possible.

On a sidenote when did cereal stop giving prizes They haven't completely. Working in a supermarket, some cereals are giving out Star Wars: The Last Jedi themed spoons. As for the topic... SOGGIES MAY RULE!

I don't remember them doing another one, and me being 7 then seems about right; but anything's possible.
Lotta food mascots went missing: Capn, Trix Rabbit, Herb..

I remember they had a golden squirt gun contest. It was a squirt gun shaped like the cap'n. If you found the golden one you win a trip to Disney or something. Anyway a kid in my town won it.

In the 2000 Cap'n Crunch was kidnapped by this big underground monster guy and kids had to find him. Not sure if they did any more in between those two.

Cap'n Crunch was cloned in the Les Enfants Terribles project. He went on to become the former president of the United States under his real name, George Sears, before having a katana battle atop Federal Hall against an androgynous spandex-wearing former child soldier who has a really boring room with no posters on the wall. His body was recovered and kept alive through nano machines before being burned to a crisp some time later.

Even Spider-Man got involved in the mystery: Spidey would go on to help free the Cap'n in another contest mystery a year or two later:

I never understood why Sogmaster was saying "He He He" in that second comic. I guess it was supposed to be an evil laugh, but why not just write "HA HA HA!"

I'm sure Spider-Man can easily defeat a cartoon milk mosnter wearing armor.

Ron Frenz art in the first two. Any clue on the third image? I'd almost swear that was Romita Sr.'s Spidey.

Anyone remember the other one where you had to guess which cage or cave the Soggies used to trap the Capt?

All this talk about Cap'n Crunch & the Soggies just reminds me of that parody version of the HydraCap "Hail Hydra" page with the Cap'n saying "Hail Soggies".
