100% chance of their being a scene on the rooftop of Nic Cage doing noir style narration... only for one of the others probably Miles talking about how he's doing it outloud.

Ok, Spider-Ham was adorable.
I can't get past how gorgeous this film looks. So hyped.

If they get the tone right it could work like gangbusters. It's got this "Lego Movie" meta humor vibe with a grounded action aesthetic.

Fun fact; Nicholas Cage is the only actor to play Superman and Spider-Man in the same calendar year.

Peni Parker, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Ham confirmed Also a brief blink-and-you'll miss it photo cameo of PS4 Spider-Man here, too. The different animation styles (particularly noticeable on Spider-Ham and Peni Parker) are very neat.

While Into the Spider-Verse does look good, I wouldn't say that pride has anything to do with the sequel getting green lit. Spider-Man sequels and spinoffs is what Sony do, and they're not exactly discerning about it.

I almost got free tickets to an advanced screening, but it was full.

A lot of the early reviews are gushing about how amazing (heh) and spectacular (double heh) it is.

I almost got free tickets to an advanced screening, but it was full. Yeah I read on the PlayStation Reddit page that they were giving out tickets for advance screenings for certain Plus members. Unfortunately I wasn’t one of them.

I don't think I've looked forward this much to a Spider-Man flick flick since Spider-Man 2.

Yeah, Sony already announced about 20 Spider-movies... and I mean Fant4stic got a sequel announced before being released... not that Spider-verse looks anywhere near as dire as Fant4stic.

Be careful guys, the official cast listing is out and it has a bunch of surprise cameos on it. I was scrolling through Facebook and the IGN account has a video on it. Luckily I didn’t look at it but still, it’s out there.

I'm getting pretty torn on this one. On paper I really wasn't interested but the reviews... They definitely have me wondering about it.
Plus honestly it'd be good to like another Spider-Man movie. Seen them all and the best I can really say for them is, "Amazing 1 is pretty solid despite some really stupid stuff and Raimi 2 is watchable."
