Swann is trending on Twitter. Potentially not good for WWE if this gets more attention. They've already made their policy clear and shown that they're following their policy. It's not like they have the authority to say, have Brock drag Swann into the depths of an arena and legit beat him within a millimeter of his life (as much as some people might want to see that happen). There's probably a LOT of husbands in both the RAW and SD locker rooms that'd have to likely be kept away from him as well. (Only ones I can think of at the moment are AJ, KO, Roman, both Club members, Daniel Bryan, Triple H if he's there, Angle, and I think Titus)

This is really shocking. But I, like the E, have a zero tolerance policy for abuse. If (in this case, potentially when) convicted, he is more cooked than a turkey at Thanksgiving. I have no mercy, no shades of gray here. Fire him as soon as the verdict comes down and emphasize to the locker room that ANY abuse, molestation or harassment will not be tolerated.
And yes, it still sticks in my craw that JBL is employed, but this isn’t the place and that nickel is spent. Swann first, clean house later.

So those jokes about Swann looking like a creep and someone who would be a predator... in retrospect, "Yeah, looks like" fits very well now. And yeah I wouldn't be shocked if Swann is taken out of the match even before it happens at this point, I would imagine they run with the ho hand and give Gulak a shot as a face, it's either that or Cedric I guess. 205 Live's going to fast shit. The others, I couldn't say.

I kind of want to see the match, now. Did she do something stupidly dangerous and unnecessary or something? I can see that being a serious argument leading to anger. That doesn't excuse getting physical. At all. Doesn't excuse physical force/restraint at all, especially from a moving vehicle. I'm flabbergasted by this. I really liked Swann. Ironically the company she worked for posts all of their matches for free on their Youtube channel so you will be able to see it eventually. Here's her title defense against Chuck Taylor back in October

Those guys are professionals with common sense and wouldn’t do something like that. It’s fun to think that domestic abusers will get a taste of their own medicine but that’s just not how the world works. Leave it to the police and the WWE to punish him.

Swann is trending on Twitter. Potentially not good for WWE if this gets more attention. WWE I'd already ahead of the situation by having two clearly defined policies covering this and publicly suspending him, IMO. Hell, I would not be shocked if they sort of get praised over their handling of it compared to the NFL and other major sports. I should have clarified: if a journalist sees this and decides to look into the broader questions of abuse that are currently in the headlines, that wouldn't be great for them. They're good with disciplining talent, though. Absolutely.

Never saw this coming. If this is true, f*** Rich Swann and I hope he doesn't get a slap on the wrist.

Yo could you imagine the legendary status Drew would get if he pulled a "Nick Gage Bank Robbery" promo like he did in CZW?? Man the fans legit got mad lol, and Gulak took it a step further by using a pillow under the shirt to make fun of Gage's weight, I think he also made fun of Nick's teeth. But the lowest blow was years later when Blk Jeez during a promo insinuated that Nick was passed around in jail.

Maybe now we're jumping to conclusions. So he screwed up. Apparently based on this, his wife forgives him, so there must be something missing here.

Regardless if she lets cooler heads prevail there are two witnesses testifying to the same story...He will be convicted regardless of her dropping charges or not

Husband-solidarity isn't a thing like that. This isn't the pedo getting caught in the prison shower situation. Some of those husbands could even be in the "she deserved it" mentality. The rest aren't going to go vigilante just because they have their own wives.

What a moron. Swann worked so hard to get to the WWE. He’s pissed everything away. Not just his job but he could go to prison. Swann needs to put his ego in check and get help with his anger and control issues. Then he can probably look for a new line of work. Not too many people will want to pay to see him wrestle again.

If we're talking about domestic abuse situation then firstly, her bailing him out doesn't excuse his actions (nor am I saying you implied that) and secondly abuse victims will make excuses for, justify the actions of and habitually forgive abuse because of long established patterns of control. That doesn't make anything okay. Regardless of that, dude shoulD be fired yesterday if the events happened as reported.

Gulak is without a opponent now, will this lead to Gulak taking on Kalisto for the #1 contendership or will someone else get Swann's spot?

I don't think we can take this to mean anything, but they both are in a dysfunctional relationship. Maybe it's the pressure of the road, or poor conflict resolution skills there is obviously something wrong here. It doesn't necessarily mean Swan is a serial abuser, it doesn't mean she's being over dramatic, it does mean they are going to have to figure out how to handle their relationship in a less destructive way.
