Okay, so I'm glad I wasn't the only one offended when they mentiones Moolah last night. If you want to make history and honor it, what about acknowledging the 3 women who were actually in the Rumble's past?
Chyna Beth Kharma
What I don't understand is, Chyna is a saint compared to Moolah yet she continuously gets dogged by WWE and HHH and Steph.
What is the obsession with Moolah and the disrespectful nature to Chyna?

Moolah's crimes were in the shadows.
Chyna's demons were very public.
That's basically it, until the Moolah stuff becomes way more known, she's the "safer" option they've been pushing as a legend for 30 years.

In fairness they didnt mention Moolah at all during the Mae Young Classic, they just seem to pick and choose who they name drop.
Given the nature of Chyna's death its going to be a long time before they celebrate her.

Scott and X-Pac had the same demons, if we share going to stick to drugs and alcohol here and good ol HHH helped his boys out here and for the most part the are revered as The Kliq with that DVD release a while back. If it wasn't for the porn career, I'd say Scott Hall had the more destructive lifestyle yet HHH is there for him.

Wasn't it Steph making these comments? Chyna used to bang her husband, what do you expect?

Wasn't it Steph making these comments? Chyna used to bang her husband, what do you expect? Just the fact Steph brought up Moolah. If you are a monster you don't need to be brought up and honored. And just because the theme was it was the Royal Rumble for women and how Chyna was the first to enter it. The two themes went hand in hand. So either you honor the two "monsters" in Moolah and Chyna at the same time or you don't.

I think some people forget some of the stuff Chyna said about both Hunter and Steph. Shit, she accused Hunter of abusing her.
And you know, the part where she made a porn parody of the company which IIRC, included H, Steph and others.
What the hell do people expect?

I'm surprised she went there in mentioning Moolah, given what's been going on during the last few months in Hollywood and the speculation about the possibility of WWE being exposed for sexual misconduct. I'd say Moolah's impact on the business as essentially a pimp for women's wrestling and her near-total burial of the women's craft in North America is the clearest illustration of how exploitation is bad for any profession. Compared to Moolah, David McLane is a goddamned hero.

I’d still consider Moolah’s crimes worse then anything Chyna said or did.

Better question : Why not mention Madusa, now that she's back in the fold?

It is what it is.
Yeah Moolah had a more destructive life style but Chyna was Trips ex.
If anyone else married Stephanie, I am pretty sure Steph would be cold on her husbands ex girlfriends.
99 percent of all wives would do this. It's just life.

While I dont agree with the Chyna omission, theres a lot more to this story than just demons (like Scott Hall and X-Pac were mentioned) HHH was in a personal relationship with her, he cheated on her with Steph, Chyna went on to bash the company, HHH and Stephanie many many times following the break up (and rightfully so) including an allegation of him hitting her. She also had the personal demons we spoke of which ultimately cost her her life, these said demons were publicised all over reality TV shows. Then throw in the fact she did porn, and one porn in particular used parodies of HHH, Vince and Stephanie, I just think it was always going to be a long time before fences were mended.
Look at the likes of Madusa, it was 21 years and all she did was trash a fake belt.
Had Chyna stayed clean a few more years, I think the stars would have eventually aligned. Sadly she didnt. I think we are looking at a long time before the dusts settles.

If it wasn't for the porn career, I'd say Scott Hall had the more destructive lifestyle yet HHH is there for him. Scott Hall and X-Pac didn't go around calling Triple H a pedophile. Forget the drugs, forget the porn career: it's about the fact that Chyna spent years publicly running down the heirs to the company and saying insane shit about them. Even Triple H's remark about his kids Googling her is all completely transparent and it's shocking that people buy it, but the real reason that she's not given any recognition is because of the things she's said and done that make everyone involved just want to forget her.

Chyna did a porn that had actors impersonating Stephanie, Triple H, and Vince. Nuff said.

I’d still consider Moolah’s crimes worse then anything Chyna said or did. Oh, big time. Chyna's life was a trainwreck that lashed out at the world, but a lot of it came from a tragic backstory. Moolah did so much damage to womens wrestling that its only in recent years recovered from, and that came from selfish desires.

The praising of Moolah sucks, but anyone who thinks that they should just shrug and forget the shit Chyna said about them and the f***ing porno she did that mocked them and the company is either foolish, or just wants to have something to bitch about when it comes to H/Steph

And for the record, this isn't really a matter of "Moolah is worse than Chyna therefore they should mention Chyna", and I don't think anyone in the f***ing world would argue that Moolah was not a f***ing monster while Chyna was just a deeply troubled person who hit rock bottom and pissed off the wrong people. But WWE has shown time and again that it will gladly roll with anyone they think they can make money off of and won't distance themselves from a legacy until it gives them bad press, and even then they'll keep someone that Vince is fond of waiting in the wings until it's prime time to bring them back. Hogan's due back at some point, Snuka had been brought back into the fold again years after the murder and they only minimized his influence again when the case was reopened and the heat was back on the company again. Until the day that a laundry list of Moolah accusations gets a viral Sports Illustrated article, WWE will skirt the line and mention her when they think they can get away with it, because Vince was always fond of Moolah and that's just how he does. WWE is always super willing to lionize people they know are f***ing terrible, and remember that the closet for Vince's skeletons has its own closet full of skeletons, so that shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody. That's all super mega f***ed up, but I feel like the pattern is established enough to the comparisons to just what the two women respectively did super disingenuous.
