Yeah, in terms of those things, Funko is more categorised as vinyl figures so aren't really "toys" in the same way action figures are which is why you're less likely to see them in toy stores (even though my local toy store does have them but still). So if they were to do a deal with a manufacturer, they probably wouldn't get in the way unless they've done a badly put together contract. Also, you usually only see exclusivity in the realm of action figures and things like Lego where there are direct competitors and whatever is being licensed out is done along the very narrow band of their competitors; Mattel is most concerned with blocking out companies like Hasbro, and Lego is more concerned with blocking other block building brands. DC comics has their action figure line and the Funko deal, but then in terms of collectible statues they've also got a whole slew of companies that put out a lot of broad sorts of stuff; I've got stuff on my shelf from like four different companies that's all Batman-related stuff. Once you get into the collectible market there's no real exclusivity or fear of competition, because all those companies are working different styles and at different price points. If it's not lining the aisle of a toy store it's not going to be blocked by any deal unless you're getting taken for a ride. Yeah, I have a couple of comic book stores near me and there's pretty much every kind of figurine and style in there and yeah, there's probably a sense of competition with how much space Funkos usually take up but it's not like Funko has to worry as much when their stuff is cheaper than the $30+ ones that other companies do because of their own style.

Super generic, blandly-designed Funkos moving for like 11 bucks isn't going to do anything to impact the sale of a $300 1/6 scale statue designed by a renowned Japanese artist. Collector's goods exist in a world much more concerned with enticing people to buy their super expensive luxury show piece than about fighting anyone else through direct competition, and they know full well there's die-hard whackadoos who will be more than happy to drop money for anything they can of big name characters that justifies everyone getting a piece of the pie. The only real fear of competition in the toy industry is on the level of the kinds of things that parents will buy their kids and about locking down the big brand names to appeal to those kids. Also, the cost associated with exclusivity is steep as f***; Funko could never support it with their cheap model even with how little actual design they're doing. It's justified for the titans locking down major brands like Star Wars because whatever company can nail down a big contract like that can basically print money. But no so much outside of that.

Basically every company in Japan has had giant increase in attendance besides NOAH but even NOAH had a big last few months. That being said the game is probably NJPW exclusive

DDT is the third biggest promotion in Japan, for big shows they can bring in a little under 20k.

At this point in time, only New Japan can really escape the "indy stigma" to be fair. DDT (and Dragon Gate) have quite a few thousands of dedicated fans but aren't really considered big companies. Both are bigger than All Japan and NOAH at this point in time yeah.

A pack containing at least 6 NJPW wrestlers and a story mode to become IWGP heavyweight champion from just a Young Lion!

Dang. I had a feeling it wouldn't be a fully fledged 3D console game, but I'm still kinda bummed tbh. You can already create pretty good representations of the roster and arenas in Fire Pro, so it's seems a bit redundant. Still...This is pretty neat and more things to do in the new game is always a good thing.

Up until very recently they couldn't even get 1000 people in Kuroken. All Japan seems to be doing better lately, but they are still behind DDT and Dragon Gate who draw much better for big shows.
