Do you agree that he won’t? It seems fans have stopped even suggesting a Reigns heel turn since they likely know it will never happen. We’re stuck with Reigns as the guy for the next 5 to 7 years whether we like it or not. He might feel like the heel to 50-75% of wrestling fans but the WWE will never view him as the heel. I honestly don’t know who he’s even going to feud with over the next few years when he went through everyone already. Pretty much all that’s left are Nakamura & heel Ambrose. There’s a few NXT guys that he will go over like Mcintyre probably & probably will face Authors of Pain in a handicap match sometime in 2019.

Did Cena ever turn heel? Now imagine compounding that with an older, more stubborn Vince. Until the day he steps down the chance feels like pretty much zero.

If he didn't turn heel Post Mania with WWE immediately playing off the moment of "The Crowd 100% hates this guy and isn't ever gonna back him" seconds later, I highly doubt he'll ever go heel
Which means his career is screwed basically. Because he's already peaked multiple times as a "Face", and failed, and they're still trying.

Nope. He will turn. He's not like Cena where he's never acting heel or playing heel in his matches. He does do that, they're just too stubborn to turn him.

Nah, as stubborn as they are trying to anoint Roman, I don't see him having a decade long mega-push or anything. At some point they'll have the NEXT 'guy'.

If Cena never turned, then neither will Reigns.

Cena not turning was largely due to the merch sales with kids. Reigns doesn't have that as far as I know.

Cena's megaface character is worlds different than Reigns. Hell Reigns honestly doesn't really even have a character; they have him exhibit different traits at any given moment. Far easier to turn a guy that doesn't even have a defined character.

Never is a long time... but I don't see it happening any time soon. Like Cena they've had multiple times they had the setup for it and never pulled the trigger, but Cena hate was never to the level the majority of Reigns backlash was. Nope. He will turn. Cena is still going to have his heel run, and it will be glorious.

God, I hope so. I've been watching early NXT and early heel Roman was so much better than what we have now.

That's something we'd never see with Cena. We'd never see the guy's whole character be focused around him playing a heel even though Cena might have some matches as the heel, at the end of the day he's still a face .

Roman was absolutely still a face at that time.

Roman was absolutely still a face at that time. You're misunderstanding me. They kept Roman a face by muting the crowd and by having the commentators big him up on camera. His comments though? How he was acting in his matches? Even how he treated faces especially that whole "I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy" thing, that was the company's idea of playing into the heel side while keeping him ultimately a face. Just look at how he acted in the Styles feud. It's different than Cena who you'd never even do anything close to that on both sides. Even this for example. That's not being completely face. He was working heel while being a face in the storylines. It's no different than faces who do heel tactics from time to time but are still positioned as faces from a storyline standpoint. He's still a face but all of his actions aren't face actions.

If Vince ever suddenly dies then Reigns will turn heel. He'll probably turn heel at the funeral.
