It’s like “we want this to be a catchphrase so bad” and it’s just..ugh. It really doesn’t fit them at all. Sami and Kevin have been great together and they really don’t need this shoe-horned in gimmick.

That's twice now they've had Owens doing great in a tag team and elevated him to the main event scene only to in the process put him in a bunch of repetitive go-nowhere nonsense dragging out a story for ages just to get it to Mania. This is probably more tolerable than his Universal reign but it's still pretty awful.

Owens and Zayn are pandering to Bryan’s heartstrings by invoking the same type of rallying points he did himself against The Authority to get him on their side in regards to their issues with Shane. If they’re still doing it when they’re feuding with The Usos or something, maybe that’s when it becomes them forcing a schtick.

Even Styles himself said he felt like he wasn't doing his job as a heel considering people didn't hate him. That's what a heel is. |
