Uh...3 matches? 1 of which features two heavyweights? Was it going to end at like 8:30 so people could still catch happy hour specials at the bar down the street?

Also holy crap they actually thought they would find enough people in Rhode Island interested enough in a 205 Live House Show to fill THIS PLACE up?

WHAAAAAAA?!
This was something I didn’t expect to happen! Especially from a brand that has so much company backing as 205 Live!
I’m SHOCKED!
Seriously, how the hell did they not see this coming?

This was such an incredibly terrible idea from the start I can't believe they were still going through with it.

I just want one of these shows to happen if only so I can see a picture of how empty the arena is.

I want to say I'm surprised but I'd be lying, sounds like a horrible idea.

When half the Cruiserweight roster out with injuries or legal stuff, how the HELL did they expect this to work?!

Why didn't they find smaller venues for these house shows? That card could be awesome in a more intimate setting.

I haven't laughed this much since last night when I made a "Willie still loves ya, O great one!" comment while watching Dragon Ball GT.
3 matches (2 from an ice cold property) in a rinky dink bathtub at Moose Gallbladder was going to sell like hotcakes?
By the way... Newport does have a huge arena & the OP pointed out, but I'm thinking they'll cancel the following Poughkeepsie show, which is a literal bathtub.

So, lots of cruiserweight future endeavors in the near future, I'll assume.

By the way... Newport does have a huge arena & the OP pointed out, but I'm thinking they'll cancel the following Poughkeepsie show, which is a literal bathtub. From the info for these: 1) People laugh about the size of the Ryan Center and thinking they could sell it out, but WWE DID sell out the Ryan Center for NXT in the past (the second show did worse, but it's absolutely possible for WWE to sell out that arena for the developmental shows.) Heck, it's one of the biggest arenas WWE can get on super-short notice and have some chance of success. 2) A lot of the problems happened due to injuries and Rich Swann flaming out- the whole thing changed up dramatically after that. 3) No, Newport doesn't have a huge arena- the only really big arenas in Rhode Island are the Dunkin' Donuts Center (which WWE has NEVER had a problem selling out, even with lesser shows) and the Ryan Center (which WWE started using with the NXT live tours.)

I'd be more apt to go if the shows were in Boston or Providence, but I'm not sitting in traffic trying to traverse to either Lowell or southern RI.

2) A lot of the problems happened due to injuries and Rich Swann flaming out- the whole thing changed up dramatically after that. Yeah, I'd think that things like injuries and potentially Enzo's illness are especially why they decided to can this.

I just want one of these shows to happen if only so I can see a picture of how empty the arena is. I went to a WWE ECW live event in Battle Creek, MI. Very small crowd. Certainly couldn't have been more than 1000, tops. Did a quick google and it looks like it was at the Kellogg Arena, pictured here, so it wasn't too mismatched for crowd size vs. venue.
