Pritchard did note on his podcast on Edge, Hunter and HBK, were really down on Edge in 2004 and kinda wanting him gone since he was injury prone I'm surprised about Shawn because they worked a program together afterwards. And he put him over. HHH obviously it goes deep a few years of hatred. if I remember the podcast exactly, he/Vince told him to suck it up and do it and Edge noted around this time on his dvd someone was against him in the back so I'm guessing it was HHH |

It wasn't until he started turning heel and started his angle with HBK later in the year that started turning things around for him. Plus, come 2005, the whole Lita story comes out and heaped a massive amount of heat on Edge which led to him being paired with Lita on screen. So things turned around for Edge really starting from that HBK feud. HBK always seemed willing to work with other guys to try and help them out. HHH never really did. |

And that is what will forever separate HHH and HBK. With the exception of the Hogan feud, did Michaels really veto anything else except refusing a title run in 2007? HHH wanted it all still. After 2004 he honestly didn't need to be in the title scene ever again. Special attraction? Damn right. |

Even the Hogan thing, that was more Shawn just being a dick to a guy who he felt was being a dick too. Only other time I think he didn't go out of his way to help someone was Kennedy. I think he was on the list of people who didn't want to work with him. |
