I'm more inclined to believe in THE BIG DOG™ than a convicted criminal, but if he shows some proof then that would change things.

So am I alone in hoping that Reigns is innocent, and doesn't want to see him suspended and/or kicked out of the Mania main event? Workrate and super pushes aside, this situation isn't bad for just him. It's bad for WWE and the business' public perception. I hope he's innocent; partially for publicity reasons but also because I feel kind of bad for him. I hate how he's booked, but that isn't his fault, and the guy must have a ton of pressure on his shoulders constantly trying and failing to be the new Cena.

It'd be really funny if this wrecked WWE. No idea who this convicted criminal guy is but best of luck to him.

For the record as someone who HATES Roman as a character, I don't hate Roman as a person and would be incredibly disappointed in him if this turned out to be true for basically screwing up everything he's been given, if forcefed, still given, with something like this since he's already failed Wellness once.
I hope he's innocent and smarter than that, but it's still a nervous situation.

... I'm still that nerd that thinks "There's no way Vince and most of his high card guys are on 'roids still. They are on HGH with personal doctors monitoring their health and dosages."
That's why Jinder is so astounding to me. I figured he'd be on HGH and have a good doc could keep him from looking like a human pin cushion. Evidently not.
Or are HGH and Steroids just all merged together in the public conscious these days? I'm admittedly totally out of touch with public opinion on things.

I’m trying not to take this as first view because, well, you can’t really. This isn’t like any other scandal where a bunch of people coming out to tell their story about one person pretty much confirms it, it’s a different circumstance. It needs more solid proof and such, like a paper trail.
On the other hand, and I’m not comparing the two but I had no reason to believe Ken Kennedy when he came out and talk about his history with steroids and the moment he did it could have genuinely put the company in a worse position when it was found he was lying because it was during the Benoit tragedy and he was adamant about being the guy to speak.
All I can hope for is that the dude does have a good head on his shoulders and isn’t lying because, honestly, the lies will hurt him worse than the actual accusation.

I'm actually worried about all this.
Like, if this is true, we are all screwed. The singular entity approach WWE has built would cause a near catastrophic chain of events that would damage just about everything with wrestling.
Some of you may think this is hyperbole, but that's how I feel.

So, just to speculate here. If he is guilty and they do lose faith in him, who do they hitch their wagon to? They've been cool on Ambrose since the Austin ordeal, AJ isn't as young as Vince would like, Balor is now teetering on being a heel. I just don't see a viable option other than Seth Rollins. He's young, lives a clean lifestyle, the crowd really loves him, and he just got his main event finisher back.

I hope it is true, just to see the chaos it'd cause in the company

Some of you may think this is hyperbole, but that's how I feel. Nah, cracks in WWE's foundation will be good for the business as a whole. If anything, it would shift them away from the "WE MUST BE THE MONOLITH OF WRESTLING" approach they've had for the past 5 years or so, where they have to have EVERY guy signed, and undercutting awesome things like the British indy renaissance, and turning EVOLVE into a developmental territory.

People still mix HGH and Steroids together That's why sports they use the term PEDs as more of a broad definition but people will still connect that too steroids. I mean i'm a sports junky so there's obvious effects between the two that correlates to sports like MMA with their TRT ban which f***ed up a lot of guys (Vitor Belfort)

They're clearly very high on him anyway, by all signs he's the biggest ratings draw on the roster, and the crowd loves him. He should really be their top choice right now regardless but I think they'd definitely go fully onboard with him if they had to scale back Reigns.

If this was years ago...say when he was still in developmental or before.
Would it still be a death knell for Reigns and WWE?
...And I'm all on board for Braun as new face of WWE.

Not to mention Braun is right there, as are Seth and eventually Dean... and a number of other people in the mid-card that are still actually over despite WWE's efforts.

Yea, WWE is far from death's door if their top star gets caught with Steroids I mean it has happened before

They survived Kennedy being called out as a liar after wanting to be the spokesperson during the Benoit situation. That's dodging a bullet from in front of you and then dodging another bullet from right behind you.

Yeah but all of that was before Twitter popularity.
Say ypu don't like a certain tv show amd you'll get a public campaign for your head these days.
I don't think WWE would've done so hot with the Chris Benoit scandal today.
