Weird as hell that video shows a picture of AJ with Gallows and Anderson but doesn't mention he was also in Bullet Club. Heh.

Oh yeah the sheer multitude of "I don't like WWE so everything they do inherently sucks" posts are choking this thread out, and there are no underlying factors or things WWE has done in the past that have anything to do with peoples' complaints. WWE is indeed technically doing this thing and so that means the reason people are against it is because WWE is doing it. Just some mean ol' contrarians. |

Maybe they figured out the best way to ruin rival Bullet Club. Acknowledge it as their own thing and try to make it good. That’s how they’ve ruined everyone else. DDP, Broken Matt, Baylee main roster, Lex Luger, and the list goes on and on and on in a wall of text. But yeah, brilliant. Kill it by doing what you always do: think you can make it better and “cool” and being naive about your own incompetence to what people actually like, Vince and company. The problem is, the people that’ll matter to, the hardcore fans and even some casuals creeping towards your ROH show or whatnot, will just look at that and go “Well, I might as well go and look at the real deal” and ignore the other thing. The key problem with your statement is that there’s no Bullet Club in WWE. Sure, there are members but if people want to see Bullet Club as is right now...they’ll just go to them. Unless WWE buy out New Japan, which sounds like a shareholder nightmare considering how little profit they bring in and how Bushiroad probably don’t want to sell ever, people are just going to see the wood for the trees. |

That's basically my stance here. I've wanted them to do something resembling the Bullet Club with these guys since day one. But stop with trying to screw with the actual guys in the Bullet Club which only works not because of the merit of their case, but because no one can afford a legal battle with them. |

WWE didn't do anything to the Elite until they made a video outside of Raw taking potshots at WWE's attendance as part of a publicity stunt. People need to stop acting like Elite were just minding their own business until big bad WWE decided to start picking on them for no reason. They're lucky all they got was a cease and desist letter, I'm pretty sure WWE was actually sued when they did something similar outside of Nitro.
People have been asking WWE to stop pretending the rest of the wrestling world doesn't exist. They do just that in a perfectly benign video mentioning another company by name and it's somehow spun as WWE sticking their middle finger at NJPW/Bullet Club. The Elite are some of the biggest workers in the world, doing everything they can to create a us vs them narrative and people are eating it up, perhaps a little too much. This is straight out of the 90s Paul Heyman playbook and he was secretly receiving money from WWE at the time.
Hell, do we even know for sure there was an actual cease and desist letter or are we taking the Young Bucks at their word? It believe it was a storyline in Being the Elite before it supposedly happened for real.
