I'm probably more lax than most of y'all because I've never driven anything in my life outside of an ATV and a golf cart, both of which aren't street legal. I don't have life experience with driving a street legal vehicle because for now, I'm physically unable. It doesn't matter if you drive. Have you ever been a passenger in a vehicle? Ever crossed the road? Ever walked on the sidewalk beside a road? You've been at risk from a drunk driver. (I don't drive either, but I sure as shit know drink driving can have awful consequences.)

There is a culture clash here. Born in the UK, I wouldn't even think about drinking any alcohol and then driving in a short space of time. Living in the US for 6 years, it happens a lot more, its not seen as acceptable, but the attitude is more relaxed, in my experience. Guess it depends on the area. When I turned 21 my dad sat me down and poured me a glass of whiskey... and talked to me about things like knowing my limit and not being afraid to call home if I couldn't afford a cab or something after drinking... and ended the talk with "because son, if I ever find out that you ever drove drunk I will break both of your legs" The way he said it was very clear he was not joking either... <_<

Considering Jimmy was barely used for years without Jey around after his DUI offenses, you'd have thought he'd be more careful

I'm 30 years old and I haven't driven since driver's ed, it's not an excuse for not knowing driving drunk is a bad, bad idea. So many different people could get hurt as a result of that one decision.

Not saying he didn't do anything wrong, but I just find it odd to be suspended for it.
If you got a dui at your job, and you were able to still fulfill your duties at your job would you get suspended for it?

If you got a dui at your job, and you were able to still fulfill your duties at your job would you get suspended for it? It's not universal, I'm sure, but anyone working where I do would be fired for it. (And my job has nothing to do with driving).

Part of their job is to drive from town to town. It's an issue. YOu just have someone else drive? If something happens to the other person then who drives? Say there's a medical issue with his brother on the road or even say he gets hurt, that's a problem. It's part of their job. Trying to work around it due to another person's issue makes no sense and is another example of one person's choice impacting someone else.

This thread's still not as bad as some poster claiming that Bram should lose to women as "punishment" for domestic violence.

I'm sure there's a few wwe workers who can not drive, but can get from place to place.

Drunk driving isn't a "better thing" and I definitely don't want to take away from how shitty it is, but I clicked this thread fully expecting the worse and breathed a f***ing sigh of relief upon seeing it was "just" drunk driving.

The same can be said for anytime someone else gets a Wellness Violation during a hot angle because it hurts the other star as well. Same thing applies across the board to a lot of things. You're talking about working around situations without understanding the result of it. Others should not have to deal with an issue of another like this.

Lastly we dont know if it was alcohol. We are assuming. For all we know it could be a medical reaction.
