Little appealing outside the top two fights but then again it could be one of those cards where everyone steps up. Then again, I'd spend $60 for the main event alone (or would, if I didn't get smacked with a heavy bill for car repair).

Pretty lackluster card outside of those top two fights, but those fights are HUGE. Too bad they couldn’t have made them part of the big end of the year card instead of what we got at 219.

If Stipe gets the best of Ngannou while standing up I'll be impressed. I would try to take him down since Ngannou's ground game is suspect.

Hoping Stipe and DC retain.

For those who haven't seen what a beast Ngannou is...
Stipe better stick and move because if Ngannou hits him with one of those we will have a new champion.

In a joke I've made before, if he retains, Stipe's fans will be shiny, happy people.

I'm actually really excited for the Heavyweight title fight. Can't remember last time I said that. Rest of the card looks aight, I guess.

Blah just noticed the PPV price increase that UFC conveniently hasn’t seemed to mention. Hopefully that shit ain’t permanent.

It's weird Dana hasn't really put Stipe on his hype train like Ronda or Conor considering how good he is. Though then again, this is the same guy who recently said one of his champions who has like 12 wins is unmarketable

Though then again, this is the same guy who recently said one of his champions who has like 12 wins is unmarketable Stipe complained about his pay, so Dana isn't going to push him heavily. If Stipe wins tonight, then I could see Dana finally give him the marketing push.

Stipe will be the first Heavyweight Champion with three consecutive title defenses in one reign if he wins tonight, which is pretty nuts.

This card screams of "We know Ngannou and Miocic is money and will sell a show easily, so let's put in one other noteworthy match and fill out the rest without much fanfare", but sometimes that's the kind of card where some real bangers sneak up on you so I'm here for this. Or, it'll be a really boring night that kicks itself into f***ing overdrive right at the end. Either way that main event alone is worth suffering through a night of Fight Night prelim-worthy matches for.

Well first prelim ended with a KO in less than a minute.
Hopefully that is a good sign for the rest of the event.
