It wasn't technically a match but a run in.
Ron Reis the motherf***ing Yeti. Where do I start? Arn Anderson told him backstage before he went out, "Ron be mean be violent you only have one shot at making an impression."
The Yethay went out and butt f***ed Hulk Hogan...
Ron goes backstage and asks Arn how it went, to which he answered, "Rewind what I just said and go f***ing kill yourself."
Reis was only used as a prop from that moment.

You know, for all the shit Bret gets for things he wrote in his book, and accusations of exaggerations or hyperbole or lying, I find it amusing this one story is taken as gospel. That’s the one people believe. He had an amazing match with Magee, was never taped and there’s no evidence of. Yes, Bret had the match and said he made Magee look so good, Vince was declaring backstage Magee was going to be his next champ. Wouldn't say I take it as gospel, but there has to be some reason Vince kept the guy on the payroll for almost half a decade without ever giving him anything to do and barely putting him on TV; and this was during a period Vince didn't have a developmental/farm system.

Colt Cabana’s match with Umaga where they had to re-tape the finish because he didn’t sell the Samoan Spike well enough pretty much ended his WWE career because I think he was fired right after that.

If I’m remembering right, that awful match with HHH at Survivor Series was the end of Kozlov’s big push. Legit one of the worst matches I’ve ever seen. I think it got sort of rescued at the end though when Edge returned? But yeah, that was pretty much it for Kozlov, although I think the final nail was when not even Shawn could get a decent match out of him on a RAW prior to Mania. If my memory is right it was ‘winner faces Taker at WM25’ match.

Didn't they match make him look like a supee worker? That’s the one people believe. He had an amazing match with Magee, was never taped and there’s no evidence of. Yes, Bret had the match and said he made Magee look so good, Vince was declaring backstage Magee was going to be his next champ. The match definitely did happen. WWF @ Rochester, NY - War Memorial - October 7, 1986 (8,200) Wrestling Challenge taping: Tom Magee pinned Bret Hart; the bout was to have been Magee's TV debut but was not televised as the WWF wanted to wait for the right moment; Magee's later matches proved less than impressive and his TV debut was scrapped altogether I believe it's been said that Meltzer has a copy of it.
