As was observed if you went to any toy store in the mid to later 2000s. I’m pretty sure I mention this every time these figures get mentioned, but they came out during a period where my younger cousin was just buying every figure they put out regardless of who it was, so the Gymini were bought be at least one person. Whenever we would trade with each other, they were always thrown in on the back end of the deal to get it done. Basically “here’s all the shit you want, and I’ll give you the Gymini so you have some extra bodies as a tag team. They were the Quentin Richardson or Keith Van Horn contract of action figures for us. Your references had me spit my beer out...thats great...Drew Gooden is weeping

One of the local Walmarts in my area is classic for being out of stock in current WWE figures but I'm still shocked when I go there and see the same Adam Rose/Bunny two pack on the shelf. Damn thing's been there at least a year! If I ever have some spare money on me and I find it's still there I may grab it just for laughs one day. No lie, I bought that for my one year old son as an Easter gift. I look forward to when he's old enough for us to unleash that bunny on the displays in our house.

This warmed the pegs so long that I bet it melted the metal. I actually bought this figure when my local Walmart finally moved it to the clearance aisle for $1. I used him as a jobber.

Dr. Death and Jackie hung around for probably 2 years back in the 90s. Speaking of which... This Tito came out 2-and-a-half years ago in 2015. The current year is 2018. They are still in plentiful stock at most Targets. Target refuses to clearance them off, but I have a hunch that time is coming near since Hall of Fame has been replaced with Hall of Champions. I would go as far to say that Tito's poor performance wrecked distribution for the line and ultimately killed it. Safe to say, kids did not buy this, nor did most collectors. It's a fine figure, just way overproduced.

I remember buying this Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter from a yard sale in like 2005: They had a Jackal figure too, but I couldn’t even muster up the enthusiasm for that. The Principal from Recess?

I'd imagine the new Mean Gene Okerlund I saw at Wal Mart today wouldn't be met with much enthusiasm from a kiddo.

To be fair, this one was never actually in stores, as far as I know. It was a promo at a trade convention.

I mean they banned it right and for a noble and just cause...right? why would a kid what it after that? You tell a kid they can't have something, it just makes them want that thing more.

Nobody buying that Curt Hawkins. He actually came in a "squash match" pack with Brodus Clay, who I guess Mattel thought was popular and would sell them well. Mattel actually first did the "squash match" thing with Mark Henry (who I believe reading on another forum actually sold a lot of action figures) and Trent as an excuse to make a Trent figure although he was a Superstars jobber. Then they did the same thing with Ryback and Jinder Mahal in 2013 (Jinder had a singles figure based on his 2011 push, but by mid 2012 was, of course, in jobberdom). Too bad the Trent figure looks like pure ass.
